Rip Roy Dotrice "Hallyne the Pyromancer" he does such a great job telling stories. He is the reader for most of the song of ice and fire audio books and his performance of all the voices and such is amazing.
I disagree. All of his women voices sound like old women. If not old, then very cringeworthy.. He used different names throughout them also, from Catlyn to Katelyn from Brianne to Briean. Arya sounds like shes 100 years old in FFC and DoD. His Stannis voice changes from book to book as well. He had some good voices, but some of them were god awful. I love it, and I love him. From the time he had the altercation with his brother in the first season, and rescued Sansa from killers and rapists, he was one of my favorite characters. I'm so glad they kept him around, and very relevant, throughout the entire show.
No. I think Ned offered to take Theon because, after the sack of King's Landing, when he saw that Robert had no problem with killing kids to accomplish his goals, he chose to take Theon as a preventative measure. Because he knew that Robert would've tried to find any excuse to kill the kid, and finish the job of wiping out his bloodline.
Nixx0537 Azarde Robb and Jon were pretty honest too though(Robb perhaps a bit more so than Jon). As was Jon Arryn(though he was dead when the series started so maybe he doesn't count) but yeah there aren't too many of them.
Niklas Peters You're right, at least in terms of the show. Though I didn't say honorable, just honest. In the books appearently the situation was a bit more debatable. Robb married Jeyne because he'd learned that she bore Robb's child and Robb thought he couldn't just leave her alone with his child which in itself is an honorable act still instead of just marrying "out of love".
In the show, not in the books. In the books littlefinger specificly avoids the curse of harrenhal, by not setting foot in it, he only uses the title to give himself enough standing to marry lisa arryn, who he then kills, becoming lord protector of the vale.
Ian Glen is my favorite narrator, perhaps on Par with Varys. They speak and act in character during these stories, adding equal parts humility and contempt.
Isn't it ironic that the Stark Children are mostly alive while the adults are gone and it's the complete opposite with the Lannisters, where all the young heirs are dead but the adults survive.
Why are there so many variations on things like Robert's Rebellion, the Greyjoy Rebellion, the War of the Nine-penny Kings, and the War of the Five Kings? Same reason why there are so many variations on documentaries covering topics like the World Wars, the Korean War and so forth: One can either gloss over those topics or one could go into great detail about them--the question is to what extent? The possibilities are virtually endless.
Agreed. Great history and background that makes you understand the characters much better. Tywin Lannister was a ruthless man but he had to be from an early age because his father was weak. It's back stories like these that make the series richer.
This is awesome. I love they did this. It's just so much more into the world. It's like the effort Rockstar puts into it's games. It's done right. It shows they have a huge passion.
Anyone notice the Pyromancer that is in the GoT show and who talks about wildfire near the end of this video is the little mini scientist that helps Atchreu get passed the 1st gate of killer Sphynx statues on his quest to save Fantasia in The Never Ending Story ! ; )
Herbert toro You know nothing Herbert, lol. She has the most annoying, "nails on a chalkboard" voice, and an absolute cringe-worthy, guttural laugh. Oh her character was the most arrogant, ignorant and annoying character in the history of GOTs, (IMPO). I love the actress that plays her. She's a lovely lady. I can definitely see how Kit fell for her offscreen. She's a great actress, she played that annoying, ignorant and overly-arrogant character, flawlessly. Uhhhgg, I get chills just thinking about that nightmare-inducing voice! Lol.
Essos always seems to be more luxurious, carefree, and free-spirited for people to live in than Westeros, at least in the Free City regions. No kings or queens to kiss up to or allegiances and oaths to get preachy and moralistic about, just doing business, making a profit , and engaging in free love. I can see why Tyrion could have been happier running away there if he hadn't been so consumed with playing the power of politics.
shayne mcdonald yeah. Everyone waited SO long for the final ending to these stories, and it got butchered. I don't understand how HBO, the Author, or even the characters, let those two idiots get away with what they did. They should be shot in the face with 10-gauge shotguns, at point blank range, for the biggest disappointment in TV history. (Even bigger than the disappointment that was Star Wars). At least they won't be able to totally slaughter upcoming Star Wars films now, thank the Old Gods, and the New!!!
this why I hope George also finishes Volume 2 of Fire & Blood, I want to see the events that led up to Robert's Rebellion and the Fall of House Targaryen and finishes Song of Ice and Fire with The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring. This world is just too interesting and epic to just die with it's author/creator
I can understand why Cately felt betrayed by Ned, because she thought he'd cheated, but letting all that anger out on a child who didn't ask to be born is a dick move. Catelyn pisses me off so much in the books, I really hope that the books also reveal that Jon is a Targaryen (which is very likely) and that Lady Stoneheart finds out, I just want to see SOME justice here.
in the END Lord Baylon Bent the knee, and he was allowed to keep his title and castle The price of peace was crystal, His sons would be taken Hostage as payment for future Treasons...

Seven blessings!
The Hound's voice is so smooth.
Love him!
Could be. Another Ned's mistake.
Shawnee Longbow Ned was the only really honest men in all of characters in game of throne..
Nixx0537 Azarde Robb and Jon were pretty honest too though(Robb perhaps a bit more so than Jon). As was Jon Arryn(though he was dead when the series started so maybe he doesn't count) but yeah there aren't too many of them.
Hasan Özuğurlu Robb was not that honorable, he was promised to one of the frey girls and married a nother woman. That is not honorable at all.
40:59 "I saw many things in this world, but never justice. Until Stannis."
Littlefinger got Harrenhal, and his house is now gone too.
In the show, not in the books. In the books littlefinger specificly avoids the curse of harrenhal, by not setting foot in it, he only uses the title to give himself enough standing to marry lisa arryn, who he then kills, becoming lord protector of the vale.
Loved the Harrenhall narration from Catelyn Stark!
@@benoitboval4543 well to be fair I can't remember show!Littlefinger really being at Harrenhal after getting it either.
Klay Thompson beat the shit out the Raptors bro I have faith in y’all man
Many houses hold to that very old and largest castle but its too expensive to hold that
10:22 The art of Jon Arynn is a spitting image of Otto Hightower from House of the Dragon.
Liam Cunningham is my favourite narrator :)
Ser Davos is my favorite!
I could listen to him read the phone book. Everybody loves Liam Cunningham.
Absolutely love that character.
So glad i found these
I love everything about Westeros but Pyke is like a gray depression put into sight.
I cant be the only person to listen to these to help me sleep 😂
Ian Glen is my favorite narrator, perhaps on Par with Varys. They speak and act in character during these stories, adding equal parts humility and contempt.
“Our’s is the fury” is by far the coolest words of any house
Days of our lives 2017
Isn't it ironic that the Stark Children are mostly alive while the adults are gone and it's the complete opposite with the Lannisters, where all the young heirs are dead but the adults survive.
I will miss the show........
The burning of Harrenhal was the biggest "no u" in westeros
Every year this video gets better
Why are there so many variations on things like Robert's Rebellion, the Greyjoy Rebellion, the War of the Nine-penny Kings, and the War of the Five Kings? Same reason why there are so many variations on documentaries covering topics like the World Wars, the Korean War and so forth: One can either gloss over those topics or one could go into great detail about them--the question is to what extent? The possibilities are virtually endless.
KTChamberlain because they are told from different viewpoints.
I know that. It was a rhetorical question. I posted that to those who've asked that question in a non-rhetorical way.
KTChamberlain o
KTChamberlain I haven't heard to much on the nine penny kings tho I wish I did I think it's a very underrated story line
To give different perspectives from participants in the events. Allows the viewer to draw their own conclusion.
Agreed. Great history and background that makes you understand the characters much better. Tywin Lannister was a ruthless man but he had to be from an early age because his father was weak. It's back stories like these that make the series richer.
Absolutely loving it very entertaining. Great job.!!
This is awesome. I love they did this. It's just so much more into the world. It's like the effort Rockstar puts into it's games. It's done right. It shows they have a huge passion.
It's just info from the books, but I agree it was an awesome touch to include these stories.
Anyone notice the Pyromancer that is in the GoT show and who talks about wildfire near the end of this video is the little mini scientist that helps Atchreu get passed the 1st gate of killer Sphynx statues on his quest to save Fantasia in The Never Ending Story ! ; )
Man Robert was badass. Won 3 betters in one day.
Betters ?
Omg ygrittes voices is too sexy
Lol.
@@endthemonkeyabuse685, Calm down Jamal, don’t pull out the nine
@@endthemonkeyabuse685 that's kind of a lot. Wanna talk about it?
Ned must really liked robert breathoen cuz he names his first son robert stark
He loved him. They we're best friends
I'd of loved to heard Ned comment on the season 1 excerpts.
19:00 ohhh robb makes me cry😭
1:18 when you finally catch someone rolling in elden ring sound
"Many of our wisdoms disappeared..."
They were killed by Jamie Lannister, who made sure that they couldn't burn down Kings Landing
GoT History and Lore and Conquest and Rebellion Season 7 Full: th-cam.com/video/qBupfOy4W0U/w-d-xo.html
This is F***ING brilliant !!!! Thank-you.
Damn, Robert and Stannis both have the same sound to their voices. Great casting.
After all these years, I still can't help but snicker at Jorah's lowkey shade at Lorath :p
This should not have any thumbs down, let alone 427
Essos always seems to be more luxurious, carefree, and free-spirited for people to live in than Westeros, at least in the Free City regions. No kings or queens to kiss up to or allegiances and oaths to get preachy and moralistic about, just doing business, making a profit , and engaging in free love. I can see why Tyrion could have been happier running away there if he hadn't been so consumed with playing the power of politics.
ygritte at the end was awesome
I love the way the word "Usurper" is thrown around.. Robert was an Usurper..so Stanis calling Joffrey an Usurper is confusing 😂😂😂
Still a long wait for season 8... At least we can all fill that hole temporerly with a good GOT lore video :)
shayne mcdonald yeah.
@@endthemonkeyabuse685 Shoot them because they ruined it? Are you serious? Lmao
this why I hope George also finishes Volume 2 of Fire & Blood, I want to see the events that led up to Robert's Rebellion and the Fall of House Targaryen and finishes Song of Ice and Fire with The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring. This world is just too interesting and epic to just die with it's author/creator
I can't believe this wasn't more heavily advertised because I had never heard or seen this even years after watching game if thrones
Rob talking about theon makes me cry
I can understand why Cately felt betrayed by Ned, because she thought he'd cheated, but letting all that anger out on a child who didn't ask to be born is a dick move. Catelyn pisses me off so much in the books, I really hope that the books also reveal that Jon is a Targaryen (which is very likely) and that Lady Stoneheart finds out, I just want to see SOME justice here.
Damn i have so much respect for Stannis now
The Iron Babies are ever boring.
Stanis forever
Alias m Westeros has only one King
Good man and the King of grammar
Killed his daughter
Stannis the Mannis
in the END Lord Baylon Bent the knee, and he was allowed to keep his title and castle The price of peace was crystal, His sons would be taken Hostage as payment for future Treasons...
Leslie's voice is mesmerizing 🥰🥰
I love how Ser Jorah Mormont say Valyria 😃
Can’t stop watching this a million times😍🥰✌🏻🌷🎻🌈☕️happy weekend😻😎🙌
Loved Rose Leslie's portrayal of Ygritte. The best story in the series.
Good job thanks ❤❤❤
Greyjoy mantra - That which is dead cannot die, but will rise harder and stronger!
Tell that to.....
Theon's penis!!! >XD
TheEyez187 lmfao that shit is forever gone
essential viewing
Just had a realization. Both Robert Baratheon and his bastard son Gendry prefer a hammer in battle. Like father, like son!!!!
both prefers stark girls too and both lost it
As per the show. The show is not cannon
nope nope I'm confused, what does that mean exactly???
Pretty sure it wasn't a coincidence......
