  • Ranching in Alberta, Steve has lots of experience with cold, snowy winters. Even so, he has designed a system to allow for profitable winter grazing. In this farminar, Steve will discuss the importance of pasture planning; bale and swath grazing; and the economics of winter grazing, including labor and equipment.
Steve Kenyon owns Greener Pastures Ranching Ltd., a custom grazing business in Alberta, Canada. He is also a frequent contributor to The Stockman Grass Farmer and Canadian Cattleman magazines and the author of The Calendar of the Year-Round Grazier.
His business's mission is economic and environmental sustainability for generations, and he believes that to be profitable in the long term, you must use regenerative agriculture practices.

Good video. I live in Alabama. It snowed once last year. It melted the next day.
