    Get rid of those cruel jobs agencies, who play mind games on the unemployed.

      They are staffed by low IQ, low skill power trippers who have let a little power go to their heads. All they do is mess with the heads of those they are paid to mistreat, humiliate and dominate. It is the most disgraceful system.

    I meet my obligations, I’m 60, yet can’t report my paid working hours as self employed (average 45 p wk).
    The Federal Legisation is not adhered to, nor even known, by my provider consultant ( Deception Bay), and Centrelink told me not to submit hours / pay via fortnightly reports, as I normally did, but use tax return data as I’m self employed and they work out what to pay me averaged out.
    My provider consultant has also been classically abusive with shouting threatened menial job orders at me in the public office and refusing to view or believe my resume level or fantasy perceived skills in arts, events and music over my lifetime, nor even my proven paid hours using delivery app.
    Her psychological attempts at abuse are also illegal.
    Why should taxpayers pay for state sponsored narcissistic abuse and destruction of what I already do so provider can sponge a commission of my job destruction for one of their own ?

    • @makhenaten
      @makhenaten 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, now I can report hours, but they are trying to destroy my existing paid work and niche skills to get a Commision from placing me in a job of their choosing which has no relevance to my advanced talents, even though the rules are not to do so if it conflicts with existing paid work, which it does

    I started a small mobile handyman welding business late last year and have declared all earnings from it proving that it is a legitimate business with an ABN, liability insurance etc.
    I had an appointment with a job provider (salvation army employment plus) earlier this week and was basically laughed at and told that i need to provide 100 points per month to qualify for payment regardless of the fact that i have jobs i need to quote but am unable to due to the recent weather events.
    I was also told that quoting work doesn't qualify for the points system.... I'm not sitting at home doing nothing. I'm having a go but it doesn't seem to matter.
    I feel like just giving the whole thing up but i will press on.

    Rather than a policing welfare system why don't we try a social welfare system? Like the universal income? The money saved on all these buggy and unworkable systems to a genuine support system where poorest in the community have a decent life accompanied with genuine empowering trainings to improve their skills, would more than justify the expenditure. And it's not hard to shift some of the budget from useless things like corporate welfare to this, which will in the long run provide better results for the society.

  • @ObscureSampology

    So 5 points for applying for a job ? So 20 jobs should add up to 100 points right ?

  • @Grimgool
    @Grimgool 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    This is not good and sounds very worrying, unless your still able to get 100 points by applying for 20 jobs then that will at-least be doable since it follows the same criteria as the last one. But I dont know if they will allow that due to possibly putting restrictions on how many points you can get for job applications. Cause certain criteria to do will get you points however it says its for that month or year.

    I'm always looking for workers, most just want their center link forms signed. I've begged them to work because I'm desperate for staff, but they don't want to. The government needs to make the dole less attractive. Giving people something for nothing makes them reliant and takes away their self-esteem.
