Man they need to make another TMNT fighting game. Simple, head up, one on one combat with some much needed nostalgia. Man I miss the days when I was a young boy with a Sega genesis. Life was great.
All three versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters were released a little more than half a year before Streets of Rage 3, so it's merely a coincidence.
@CoffeeMan I get beaten senseless as well. On a different (yet related) topic), how can desperation attacks be done without getting away from your foe? I mean, many, if not all of them, involve pressing back at some point and you've got to be close to your enemy.

I have played the Super NES version of the game, and I never had a Sega Genesis. But I have seen other videos of this, and I have to say that this is the better play of the Sega Genesis version than I have seen previously. At least the player can do the special moves. Plus, the player chose Leonardo, my personal favorite TMNT.

@@angel3067 You are completely wrong this is way superior than the snes version. Saturated graphics. Ininteresting music. Game play sucks and the characters looks ugly.
I think the main problem with this version is the fact that the game engine feels weird. Making combos (even simple ones) was too damn difficult, most of the time it feels like game is based on poking with every character. The reason why the FCG scene prefers the SNES version is because the engine is clearly based on the SF2 engine (with its own quirks), allowing you to make advanced stuff, including 1 frame chains, and comboing felt natural. This game has its merits (graphic design, the music, awesome animation, all of them on par with the SNES version) but gameplay wise it feels unpolished IMO
