Treating Kurdish Kids to Ice Cream 🇹🇷 (Diyarbakır Vlog)

🇹🇷 Hey folks! I am Argun Konuk and welcome to another Eastern Turkey vlog. We keep exploring Turkey's amazing cultural diversity.
In this travel vlog, I visited Diyarbakır, the 3rd most populated city in Eastern Turkey, with a population of 1.8 million.
In the previous years, especially the Sur district of downtown Diyarbakır was heavily damaged due to the clashes between the PKK terrorist groups and Turkish Armed Forces. However today, the city is safe and it has a very vivid daily life.
I visited historic places like Hasan Paşa Han, Diyarbakır Grand Mosque, Mar Geverges (St. George) Nestorian Church, Diyarbakır’s historic city walls, Virgin Mary Syriac Orthodox Church and Behran Paşa Mosque.
I also hit the back streets of downtown Diyarbakır and met a group of cute Kurdish kids. I treated them to ice cream, chips and drinks.
It was a great day exploring the city.
