For a small hive lifter I found beehivelifters.com they’re made in USA and I think the price is reasonable. My husband is getting me one for Christmas to have for the spring.
Kamon, Have you guys considered doing a virtual ticket for those beeks that cannot make it to the conference? At least that way, people would be able to still "attend" the lectures/talks for the information and still help to offset some of the costs.

Which is better now around Van Buren,Ar. Sugar cakes ( needs water?) or patties. I’m using sugar syrup now at 2-1 mix, 2 gallons in seven days. 1 double hive .
We eliminated our ant problem by sprinkling cheap cinnamon and Diatomaceous Earth around the base of the hives. Oddly enough this is the first year without hive beetles.
