So having skated these for a week or so now, I made some more mods!! if you want a followup video that is shot better let me know, but my main mods that made a massive difference were taking the standard cuff off and replacing it with a Vcut remz cuff, and instead of a buckle I fitted the remz velcro strap, both made a HUGE difference to the overall comfort and ride. I also heatmoulded the liners a little and due to my feet being SUPER wide, i now skate with the laces pretty loose, and this has helped the boot shell flex out to a point where they are now really comfortable on the sides of my feet and the initial jarring and squishing sensation is now completely gone. overall I freaking love these skates!
I've had a pre-order down from a uk store, that didn't state it was a pre-order since beginning of April, I was told today that delivery has been pushed back yet again to August. There goes a summer of skating
@@longtermsquatter damn that sucks! I take it they wont let you cancel the preorder? It seems theres a huge demand a very little supply just now, coupled with brexit and covid etc making things more complicated getting stuff made and imported! I hope you get something sorted for the summer while you wait!
Hi Doc! If you have super wide feet i really dont recommend these at all, i ended up changing to gawds fm3’s about a month after this video because i couldnt ever really get them to fit the way i wanted and the hard sides get rather painful after a while. Been skating gawds now for a while (which fit true to size) and i dont think i will ever buy any other skate, they are like skating in a nice pair of comfy jordans
So i couldnt find any in the UK so i searched more and everywhere in Europe refused to post to the UK, I eventually found a lovely skate shop called grindhouse in germany who had my size in stock and most importantly would ship to the UK, bought the boot only version, and paid £72 in import fees. Was an expensive unicorn but worth it for the comfort i now have!

looks nice! is this skate as light than the Carbon model? do you know how much it weights?
What about the sizing? Do they fit true to size? I have super wide feet with 10.5cm at a mondo of 25.0, high volume, high arch... real problem feet.
