I love 1881 for when I feel like I need a comforting hug or if I know I’m going to have a stressful day. I will definitely look out for Casmir as I really like far away.
Yeah 1881 is like a hug in a bottle! I think my Casmir got really good after I first sprayed it and then let it sit for a few months - it smells so lovely now!

I hope you had a lovely birthday 🎂. You've inspired me now to sample Mon Guerlain Intense as the OG is disappointing. My bottle's about 4 years old and it hasn't "improved" with age even when I layer with MG body lotion😢.

Thank you! I'm on a low buy this year but I defo can't do no buy, lol! Le Parfum goes up and down in price all the time and is always popping up on ebay, so if it helps to resist, I think it will be best in warmer weather anyway!

I did struggle with ‘Lust’ too but the perfume solid is subtler, maybe you could try that?

Soooooo been wanting Lalique Le Parfum. But it would be a blind buy for me. Is it a safe blind buy? Would you recommend testing first? Thank you
I'd recommend testing any perfume first if you are able to! I didn't find Le Parfum challenging at all, but I like aromatics and herbal notes just generally, and that's the thing that many people don't like about it! If you like herbal or green vanilla's then you'll probably be fine but blind buying is always a risk.
guerlain’s pronunciation does somewhat rhyme in mon guerlain, so you are saying guerlain correctly the first time you say it. the “ain”in guerlain is a trigram, which means three letters for one sound. because of that, it sounds more like “ah” instead of like saying the word pain for example.
