I’m sorry if this is cringe to comment but I just wanted to say, you have been a big help and inspiration to the way I now think about dressing my body and the longterm choices I consider when choosing new pieces for my wardrobe. I’m in the same boat as you where I struggle with finding pants that fit my wider hips/butt and smaller waist. It has been a longtime insecurity of mine, and for years I would force clothes onto my body that didn’t serve me. You’ve made me realize I can prioritize comfort while still being fashionable, and this has really boosted my confidence and self esteem. Thank you so much for your content and sharing your voice!
You'll live a way happier life if you learn to drop the word cringe. Life becomes so much better once you stop basing your reality around other people's standards.
As a fellow thick thigh, cheeked up human…I feel your pain but similarly my favorite pair of jeans are G Star, the fit and feel of the denim PLUS stretch is just 🤌. Also feel your pain on the lack of quality navy/blue t-shirts in my wardrobe but I just can’t find one I love 😂
I wanted to recommend a product for stains that has saved my life! I hate buying new clothes and I hate stains. I found the Oxyclean Max Force Gel Stick at Target a few years ago and I keep repurchasing it to this day. It even works on oil stains and old stains. Fairly inexpensive so worth a shot!
for stains I can't recommend enough some type of stain remover spray. Most of the time they get the stain completely out for me as long as I haven't washed it already. As somebody who loves to spill food/drink it's helped a lot
Maybe too late but you should try the Boxford Utility Shirt from Blacksmith London!! Just under $100, a square cropped hem, and a bit more visually interesting than your standard Oxford!!
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I found my perfect white buttondown at the thrift store a couple months ago: Brooks Brothers irish linen long-sleeve, men's, slightly off-white, at least 3 sizes too big on me. This is not at all the crisp perfect white shirt, so if you're looking for that, this is the wrong choice, but I prefer wearing my dress shirts casually and this shirt suits my preferences perfectly
Hello Percia, thoughts about learning style? there's obviously alot of factors to it, color theory, proportions, and whatnot. i've tried finding books suited towards consumers and not fashion designers with less than favorable results :(. you mentioned a youtube series you really liked, are there other sources of "style theory" you find yourself going back to or using as you figure out your own style? a book, or a website?
I'm making a video answering this, but slightly different because I've never focused on ingesting fashion content that focuses specifically on style in that way - like proportions or color theory. I've always watched people who talk about their personal fashion expression, fashion philosophy in a broader sense, or fashion history/ the fashion industry.
Hiya 👋🏾 if you want your denim to stand the test of time, wash it waaaaay less than you think you need to ❤ the more you wash it the softer it'll get but that softness may make the denim break down a lot quicker
I don't expect to find the same one but where is your scarf from? EDIT: Jil Sander is my fav brand. she actually sold her brand in the early 2000s/90s. Raf simmons was the fashion director for a while and now it's the meiers

@@percish joint award goes to the pair of you, even better ☺️
i love buying 95% of my clothes second hand, you find such unique pieces even if you buy into a trend
Same!
Make sure to do one of these on jackets & coats when the time comes around!
yes as you realized I left out all my winter clothes! too hot to even try them on 😮💨
Lizzie’s testing basics have saved me so much money! Happy to see someone else appreciating the series too ❤
Yeah I’d like! Stallions please

stretch is a necessity 🙏🏼😔
G Star is my go to as a masc-presenting AFAB person.🤌🏽
Would love a part two on closet stallions! I’m also interested in how you put together outfits using both basics and more statement pieces.

I usually hate leather sandals but your tevas are so cute 😭
I own a pair of the hiker looking ones lol, hand me downs, super comfy.
you wanna look for vintage LL Bean white oxfords. I buy them any time i see them and the material is unmatched by modern brands.
God, I hate stains! That one hit close to home 😅

I have similar proportions, height, weight etc. - what size did you order the Filippa K? Big fan of your videos and styling! Thanks :)
I'm so glad that I've discovered this channel. Your contents really resonate with my fashion choices nowadays. Keep creating! ❤
Absolutely here for a stallion video! This was so great

I appreciate this drip breakdown, and really like your style. I stain stuff too, just gotta accept it will happen :)
I thought you were somewhere in your early 20s 😮. Love your advice it has helped me out a ton.

Yay Percia posted! ☺ Would definitely like to see your Stallions hehe
for office, if you want to wear the button down just put a tank top underneath :D
Yeah I’d like!
Sick back muscles!
Those jeans 🤩🤩
would love to see the stallions!
For a white shirt I would really recommend engineered garments, tho the price point is steep I managed to get mine second hand and it is amazing
I’m looking at both one from sillage and one from Sage nation that are used but they’re still over $100 😮💨
@@percish I've heard good things about sage nation
Love it
I don't expect to find the same one but where is your scarf from?
