I'm about to ruin my weekend on pinterest making a mood board. I do like the ranges you have between masc fem and casual formal. I might use athletic versus stoic to describe how much movement i'm planning on doing. "if i can't climb a tree in it, it's not worth wearing" vs "if i can't sit in the shade and feel better than everyone while i sip wine, it's not worth wearing"
i was approached by fudge magazine last week while in London and they took some photos of me i am hoping to see them somewhere soon! was definitely thinking “i have to be city boy” during the procwss
really love the point you made about style change as you are transitioning into your 30s (as someone who's turning 30 this year as well) and I really like the question you asked on "why do you prefer ___ over ___?" because our answers can speak volumes about a person's attitude and beliefs
I love how intellectual your personal style gets. It's calm and straightforward, but also deeply insightful in an approachable way! You've got a new fan over here.
I love how thoughtful you are while talking about fashion! I relate a lot to your sense of style and ways of dressing so its been so nice following you and being able to put more into words about what I like to wear!!
hearing you talk about dressing for your actual lifestyle and about different takes on workwear is so helpful :) i’ve worked in a woodshop for almost a year now, and i’ve had to relearn how to dress myself because so much of what I wore before just doesn’t stand up to the demands of a physical job! but I’d still like to dress in a way that fits with how I’m most comfortable presenting… I think city boy summer is the way
Love how you describe dressing for comfort within your own life and your ideas on using style to communicate with your community! Very refreshingly grounded and honest :)
I love the names for all the aesthetics, it makes me want to try that for myself. Fwiw your feminine casual look gives Moosgaard sisters, like relaxed classic Copenhagen girl.
I think my personal style is Oxbridge dropout (city boy-ald/outdoors) and cool casual (athleisure/indoors). I’m bad at nicknames for my personal style…
Your approach to fashion that is all about personal style and values is what has drawn me to your content the most! So happy you talked about it directly in this video ! (Hate to be that person in the comments but what mic do you use? )
I think, what's in your wardrobe right now gives a big hint of what your personal style is. (With some expections: like mom's favourite or sale-item which doesn't really fit and so on) You automatically gravitate towards it. I prefer classics with a twist. My last buy was a striped dress shirt (a coop between Mango and Victoria Backham) with an open back. I love it and will rock it till the end. I love how you sort it out and try to make the best of what you own! 💛🧡
Found you through style me Jenn. Great channel! I am a different age ina different location but share your general style or at least aspire to. Appreciate your content!
would rather chose these themes than tomato girl aesthetic 💀 I think theme is more appropriate term than aes. or probably I just hate that word since it's prevalent now lol
I just got a ribbed tank from Wythe and it’s great! I was hesitant because of the price but I’m really glad I went for it, so I would recommend if you’re looking for other tank options
As a sucker for a quality ribbed cotton of course I looked this up. But is it mens or women sizing?? They don’t have any size Small either, I don’t think a men’s Medium would fit me as snugly as I like a ribbed tank to /: such a bummer
I love the wide legged-super long jeans you have in the 5th "feminine" look - they look amazing on you!! Really cool when you cuffed them as well. May I ask where they're from?
I think girls wearing masculine fits looks really good - there's a paradox here in that it emphasizes their femininity through contrast - whereas girls who wear overtly feminine clothes can look like they are trying to hard - almost drag queenish. Men on the hand can look really good rocking the patterns and colourways often reserved for female clothing as it emphasises a confidence in one's masculinity. Love your 'street photographer' look btw.

What an inspiring way to think of one's wardrobe! Thank you
I love the chart idea, I made one for myself that has 3 axes and it was so useful! It actually encompassed almost ALL of my “aesthetics”/themes!

I discovered your channel last week & I'm obsessed with your videos!
“College brochure” fairy grunge gals represent 🙋🏻♀️(lol I enjoy mixing many styles but this is my main dish)

Love the Issey Miyake pleats!
This is fantastic. I’m definitely gonna have to come back to it and analyze it for clearcut advice that would fit me. But this is solid.
