I bought my scooterer (the pink one) a year ago and havent had it out much yet,....I found a few issues,...first I didn't get a user manual with it and only just recently got a computer,...so telling me to look it up on line wan't very helpful at all,...I got it because I need a hip /knee replacement and wasn't informed upon ordering it that not only did it need assembly, but it also required me to lift it out of the box,...(very funny) the whole point in my getting it was because I have mobility issues,...also I live in an old folks retirement building where we have neither tools nor a garage to put it together. there is a small one directional only round area to drive up to the entrance which even if I wanted to, couldn't block by law of fire marshal,....
So that was my introduction to the scooter, luckily the delivery guys took pity on me and came back in their own time to help it took them over 3 hours and when it was all done we noticed how very big it was, something that has caused me issues every time I took it out,...now as it happens my building has elevators that can accomodate stretchers but so far no store,hotel,or doctors office that I have tried to get into does,....
Now riding the thing is great I have had it up to 28kl,...and it looks sweet, I am not here just to bitch but because I think if you are in the business of selling what is for all intense a medical aid device which this is you really should consider designing the thing from the users' perspective,....Now I know no one from your company is likely to read this, or change what and how you run your company,...so thanks for letting me vent

I bought mine from the uk price £1250 english pounds . top speed 18 mph i use it everyday for a year now still happy i bought it👍👍😀

@@GhostvaperYT There is a little red button on the underneath that is easy to get to.... once depressed it will allow unrestricted power to 18mph

Thank you for the tutorial, & I have a question I am hoping you can answer. A friend of mine has one very similar to this one, in fact could be the same model, & I would like to purchase one as well, however, hers is now 4 years old, & she is finding that the battery is no longer able to take a full charge, therefore less time for riding, & also one of her tires is now a little low, so if this happens to mine, is there a possible replacement battery, or a way to deal with the motor losing energy faster, and also, if the tires get somewhat deflated after time, how do you inflate the tires on this model? Your response is greatly appreciated :)

If you are disabled I would shop elsewhere. I have last year's Daymak Roadstar and it is NOT safe. Multiple issues.Get a flat miles from home and you are stranded. (Tube-less tires.) A real pain to fix. I now carry a rechargeable tire inflator, ratchet strap and motorcycle tire irons. (Tire seperates from the rim.) You need a lot of strength to fix this.Good luck if you have never done it before.

I own a scooter. The name eluded me at this second. It's a 8 or 9 mph unit. I'd Truely love 18 mph. 25 mph would be fantastic. When I find that 25 mph job It's mine!!! I use my unit for trips to the store at 1.2 miles away. If I had a 25 mph unit. I'd go every place on it and leave the car at home.
John Erickson I think it was 25 km/h which would be 15 to 18 m/h which is probably fast enough.

Too bad the various buttons weren’t explained. Even the manual doesn’t have where everything is located. We have a black button on the left under the left handlebar that toogles up and down and we assume it high and low beam but not sure. Daymak make a better manual please

I agree with trike rider using a able bodied person to show this scooter is pointless because people who have various disibilties need to feel safe and secure and not feel like they are going to fall out also this scooter seem impracticable for the elderly because the charging port is low to the ground im from the UK and we do not have charging ports like they have where this scooter is shown I own a strider st6 4 wheels and I feel safe on it it will it topple over and the charging point is higher up for me to reach I'm not saying to people not to purchase this scooter I'm just saying chose a scooter that is suitable for the ailments you may have and the practicality of the scooter

Using an able bodied person to demonstrate a unit meant for the disabled proves NOTHING. It is IMPOSSIBLE to determine if this is practical for a person with limitations.
I know what you are saying, but disabilities come in so many forms, personally I have a low thyroid and arthritis which means I get tired quickly and it can be painful on my toe joints, I find I cannot walk long distances like I use to. I dont drive so a mobility scooter is perfect for me, If I was the one riding it on this video I will look able bodied. The video could have various people riding the scooter with various ranges of disabilities.
