G’day Richard, thanks for the really well explained video. I’ve just purchased the C4 pro with the SC1. My previous headset was the 20s the same for my wife. I was able to follow your instructions and within minutes I had my Nav 5, iPhone 6 and my wife’s 20s all paired. I am grateful to you for this and your other videos that guide people who are not tech gurus. Best regards from an Aussie follower, ride safe mate.

While I am failing miserably at getting this to work I wanted to commend you on having put all these videos together. You present it in such a way that the logic just flows along with the technology so I know it's just me being a complete idiot. I have 2 C4 helmets with the SC1 integrated comms and will keep trying until I figure this out.
Hi Tim, We LOVE Schuberth and SENA but are not fans of this SENA/Schuberth colaberation there is enough slight differences that make ME crazy. ;-) . This is the only helmet that schuberth has sent me that we sent back :-( Email me at richard@rka-luggage.com and share your issues with me and I will ry and help you.
got a C4 pro on the way with the SC1 advanced.. went with the globe graphics.. maybe I get some tunes for the rides? I don't know anyone else has one so comms are meh... good video tho.. I wasn't aware they all spoke to one another that's nice cuz everyone doesn't have to have an SC1 to comm with.. nice, wonder if it will comm with BMW stuff?
Richard, in the previous vid on C4/SC1 you mentioned it was possible to do Siri voice commands. If things are still alive here, can you give some detail on this? Much appreciated!
Hi Richard, do you any idea why the when disconnecting the intercom, it also sometimes discounts the NAVI, I have to go into the Bluetooth setting on the NAVI and re select my Sena. I have C5 and the NAVI is a Garmin zumo. My wife has a Sena SMH10 (I blame her)
Richard - There are plenty of jokes about Engineers - trust me - I'm in most of them. And yes, we are sticklers for detail. Sorry on behalf of all of us mate !! I will watch your video again when I am actually setting up my Schuberth C4 Pro when I am back in the same continent as my helmet (Strike one - Richard), before putting on my trusty Belstaff (Strike two Paul) and setting off on one of my bikes - none of which are British (I'll have that one too). I should also "fess" up that I am just changing over from Cardo, after initially opting for Sena, and my reaction to your video - which is actually much better than the Schuberth video - was purely frustration. I mean - if the manufacturer does not have the resources - then who does ?. I turned immediately to you, expecting simplicity personified. However, I'll be back Richard. :-) Cheers

We are friends if SENA (10 years a reseller we are) and Schuberth (Used to be a reseller but could not afford the stock) Over the last 10 years the 170 plus videos I have produced are for RKA "customers" to help & support them. BUT everyone is obviously able to use them for their benefit and I hope they do. The idea is was watch the video purchase from RKA (Only to the USA :-( ) .... "Race on Sunday purchase on Monday" .... We have SIX Schuberths, FOUR C3P's and TWO R2's for trackdays. What I think under my hat .... The C4 is the only helmet we got from Schuberth I have sent back. The very worst helmet and SENA system ever! My current "go to" helmet is my SENA Momentum INC PRO. Yup not a moduler no drop down screen BUT I am used to FF helmets so I do not care about those features. I commute on Hwy 101 23 miles each way. I can hear my tunes, my wife behind me clearly and LOUD there are no earports ports ... You do not need them. Here is us coming down Interstate 5 speaking to each other with Momentum helmets .... You mentioned you also have the C3Pro. I also have C3Pro and want to connect my C4 communicator with the C3Pro communicator. Do you have a video showing that process?
do you know if the SC1 advance could make a call without touching any button? I have the 20s Evo and with only say “Hello Sena” I can access to different voice command options. Regards.
Damn. I just bought the C4. That looks way too non intuitive for me. I cant see reaching behind my head and doing all those button combinations to get what I want.
Hi Sean, I do not understand what you are complaining about. BUT the C4 is NOT my personal helmet of choice I just did the review and how to set things up. I use the SENA Momentum INC helmet. Happy Holidays R

@@Richardrka1 only thing about the 50S is its not modular, and its obtrusive, you go down you can destroy it, helmet falls whatever, plus the wind noise they make, why I think they need to reine the SC1 C4 pro, make it better each time, the modular is the bee's knee's IMHO, no antenna to set up no mic, plug and play! just keep refining it.. extremal are a hassle for me.. you can get bar controls for the SC1 as well..
I have smh10 on my agv and sc1a on c4. Sc1a is absolutely horrible, not only I had to pay 159$ (no discount) I have to buy remote to be remotely useful. Wheel is the only way to control these devices
i got my sc1s for 10 euros during a discount sale. I like it but i dont like it. I would have loved it if Schuberth had kept the whole earpiece and mic with separate wiring.
Mate. You need to decide to use either "Tap" or "Press" or "Push". I suggest that watching your video, and the effort of a so called "Tap" as demonstrated by your good self - the word is "Push". I would even accept "Press hard". Tap is either a Highland dance, or a very light finger "touch". You also introduce a "Plus" and a "Minus" key - and then start talking about a "Menu" key - which I worked out - is the "Minus" key. Sorry mate - I HATE being negative - but I watched half of this video, and decided I am too old to interpret what you are saying. Sorry - I need to search for another video to work through this. I should add - I'm an Engineer, so I'm not especially dim. Cheers - and sorry. Needs to be said though. Tim (McMillan) - I don't think it's you mate

What changed your mind, and why did you come back a second time? there are almost 35,000 views with 14 thumbs down I would call that a win. Very sorry you cannot figure out the push, tab, press thing ...... The SC1 IS about the hardest unit I have ever tried to work .... RKA as been offering SENA for almost 10 years .... ALL the units pretty much work the same way ..... But this one is in it's own world. Ride Safe ...... I have a little joke about engineers ... "Bet you ride a GSA, Have a Schuberth Helmet and an Aerostitch suit" ;-) I roadraced with about 14 engineers younger than my Daughter for 4 years .... what a hoot ... Put the C4 and the C3P in intercom pairing mode and go !!! All SENA headsets connect in the same manner. Read your manual ;-)

You need to get the handlebar remote control by Sena. Very useful.

I think the video tells you what we think ;-) It is a nice unit for some folks. For me it does not meet my requirements.

NO. Not cleanly any way if you want to do that purchase a C3P or a another brand ... Schuberth screwed up on the C4.
