When you re fit that transfer box please use lock tight, spring washes, nylock nuts and anti rattle fasteners etc lol, I did my apprenticeship on Bedford tk, TL and the km 4x4 and I can absolutely assure you that the latter transfer box has a habit of dropping off. the fleet we had we drilled the bolt heads and wire locked them I think the gearbox has a habit of doing the same. Great resto of a good truck they are very slow as well,if you can get the TL 500 turbo engine stick that in it will see 50 mph then lol, god this brings back great memories being stuck under the engine flaps lol great video bud will subscribe and catch up.
Great advice, thank you 😊 And good to hear you like the restoration. It’s always so lovely to hear from Bedford experts and enthusiasts who approve of what we’re doing to this old girl and also to hear that it brings back good memories too. Thanks for the subscribe. Much appreciated 😎🚚👍🏻
Great to have a Bedford expert on board and you done a great job on the transfer box. Does the box have a name........ that is what make is it and same for the gear box.
Hi Tim and Lisa hope all’s well I’m very impressed with your fabrication work and spraying the caravan looks great I’m glad you’re getting sorted take care Alex 👍😄🚘
I am in Houston, Texas, USA. I mean I live in the near center of Houston. I happened on to this site by chance. I enjoyed the episode very much. I want to wish you good speed and God speed. You look like you enjoy your journey.
Aw, thanks very much, Bill! It’s great to hear we have reached folks all the way across the globe in Houston. Very cool 😎 Thanks for watching and commenting. Glad to hear you enjoyed the video 🤟🏻
It does indeed feel like things are moving in the right direction now, finally! counting down the days until I can hang up my sandblasting overalls … forever!!! 😁
I basically created a monster with that blackboard! Funny enough, we are just in the early planning stages with some new/refreshed merchandise. We are switching to a new printer/manufacturer based in the U.K. Like the idea to use the ‘planner’ 👌🏻 Watch Thus Space!
Great job guys, you could even make an old bugger like me try something similar, but I am getting too long in the tooth fir this tupe of project, keep going strong and remember the the three R's, Rest, Rest and more Rest, bedt regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍👍👍
You’re never too old, you just have to pace yourself accordingly (and maybe get some young ‘uns in to lift stuff! 😁👍🏻) Thanks for watching and supporting. Good to hear you are enjoying the channel 😎🚚
Well, stopping by Cornwall from America via France probably a bit tricky. We forgive you but try harder next time 😉 Hope you had a good trip. Thanks for your support, as always. Maybe one day we’ll get to visit you in the U.S 🤞🏻
Hi 👋🏻 New Zealand sounds like such a good place to be if you want to live in a truck. We’ve heard of a few converted Bedfords out there. Thanks for watching. 😎🚚
Massive Bedford resto binge watch complete! Fantastic work guys :) Q: what's that gurt piston? off on the left of your backdrop bench? ...or is it just a biscuit tin ;)
😂 The biscuit tin is a piston from a large trawler boat. The engine was a Lister blackstone. It came from a boat called The Graceful from where we used to keep our own trawler boat. Thanks for watching, er … everything! 👌🏻 Stay tuned 🤘🏻

Thanks, Martin. I really enjoyed making this video, for some reason. Will crack on with #45 asap 😁😎
I love that you used "old English white" on the airtank and hope you use it in the engine bay which would make working on the engine easier.😊
Ah, it’s funny you should say that because it just so happens … 🤫Watch This Space! And thanks for watching 😎
She’s looking great guys , great job
Getting there! Thanks for watching 🚒😎
Awesome work guys, love Tim's cheeky GRIN 🤭
Haha! Oftentimes used to devastating effect, which is sort of how I ended up in Cornwall restoring a massive old truck! 🙄😁🥰 Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Absolutely Brilliant Video Again
Thanks, Michael 😊 Glad you enjoyed it 😎👍🏻
Fantastic work as always - it must feel much better now you're getting to bolt bits back on instead of just taking apart...
It does indeed feel like things are moving in the right direction now, finally! counting down the days until I can hang up my sandblasting overalls … forever!!! 😁
17:27 I LOVE the mood board blackboard planner! THAT would make a nice ORS t-shirt print! :-)
