Use 3rd party filters like Lexpure: Carbon+Sediment+PostCarbon = 350 to 500 Rs Vontron RO membrane = 400 to 500 Rs or Nanofiltration membrane =1250 to 1400 Rs(overpriced, but if you want to avoid TDS controller) Membranes housing = 250 to 300 Rs I do AMC myself you can learn too

Booked the Native M1 and exchanged the current Livpure pep pro plus filter for Rs 1600 which my family was using for the last 5 years with a high AMC for 4500 rs each service cost.
Most of these RO companies including but not limited to Kent and Aquaguard, are now using a timer inside the RO machines. once the preset time runs out (6-8 months) the timer starts beeping. It makes us think that RO needs maintenance but it's actually RO company that needs more money from you.
@@SalilTV I bought Aquaguard Sure 4-5 months ago - It's only UF+UF, no RO. I live in Tier 4 town where water isn't that hard. Also, I know the RO guy well so he said that it doesn't have that timer. 2 years ago I had bought a RO machine 'Aquaguard Active Copper' it didn't have time time that time. Kent I used 4-5 years ago, they used to have that beeper thing inside machine, once you used some specific liters of water, it used to go on. The best thing you can do is, ask the local dealer about this information, because companies don't make it open on the internet.

Started using HUL pureit approx 30 years back. 3 years back shifted to prestige gravity filter. RO is not required if one is using supply water (not ground water).
Thanks to Pune Municipal Corporation for providing 250 TDS good quality water, I using basic steel ka filter with ceramic filter membrane which cost only 200 ruppes a year

I bought M2 water purifier exactly 1 year back after watching your review. regularly consume 8-10 ltr of water. no issues in 1 year. the product is working just like new and the best thing is, i have not spent a single rupee in last 1 year. I purchased UC Native M1 for rs 13K - it been around 1 month and its working well. Best thing was service - I live alone and for installation i could reschedule and choose exact time for the installation service from UC app. When I inquired the service guy - he said overall M1 is better than M2 - as M2 has a a lot of software related issue and bugs from time to time (required electricity to even pour water or you can buy extra battery pack provided by UC at an added cost.). Only drawback is the tap - it will block the stream of water for a seocnd when in comes down - and will splash few drops of water either on the plastic body or on the ground.(stupid design choice)
M2 has no software bugs at all..also if you have an inverter at home, it doesn't matter that it is run by electricity bcz unless there is some 24 hour long power cut, inverter can easily handle the RO.

What a video. 3 years back I bought livepure pro p++ on your recommendation at 8500 but in three years I've invested more than 10k on that in the name of service. The uv filter fused twice.
I just serviced my kent crystal star which is 1 year old water purifier, he told me that every year you have to change the filters which costs around 6500₹ which is too much !!!!! After watching your last video, I realised you didn't knew much about water purifiers, hence did my own research. This video of yours is what was my conclusion about water purifiers. Wanted to buy M1 but not available in most Tier 2 towns. I had a basic Kent gold filter with UF & active carbon as the TDS is below 300 but then I realised that it wont filter microplastics & pesticides. Hence for now bought a Kinsco purifier to keep annual cost low, along with two transparent pre filters. One with MLT filter and other with sediment filter. These I plan to change as soon as I see them muddy, probably around in 6 months. Spoke to local filter guy and he has assured to change all the filters for around 2,000 annually from some good brand, though now I myself can change them after watching youtube videos. Thanks for validating my research 👍
For the cost, Kinsco Punch+ cost was around 3800. Two Pre filters were for 1200 with extra cartridges and the installation guy took 1000 for installation & parts like extra pipe, nozzle, valve etc. Total cost 6000.
@@geekhacks exactly bhai, he didn’t even mention the local service aspect of kent & other popular ROs. For 2-3k they replace mostly everything using 3rd party parts. What do you do for bike service? You get them serviced at brand centre till it’s in warranty. Then you go to local shop for service. Same with ROs, what will happen after 4 years ? Will Native keep extending the warranty. ROs lasts 10 years. Buy the one which has local parts available, kent , aquaguard etc. Native M1/M2 are expensive & complex. My local service guy told me he can’t fix something like that so you’ll be paying hefty amount afters 4 years.

So, better go for local RO installers that supply and install a unit for around 5k and these units can be repaired easily by any technician or yourself. The spare parts are also cheap.

I bought hul pureit 7 l model on your recommendation in 15k within 10 month it stopped and have to replace gkk cost 4k again after 6 month today it is again blinking to replace gkk. TDS is 500, I think they internally programmed to stop in fixed time to sell filter. Now thinking to buy old ceramic candle filter.

Claimed warranty of m1 2-3 times...no issue...1 Filter replaced even nob replaced and 2-3 visits all free of cost... I don't know how company is earning or not by this but building brand and customer relatioms for long term...(1 year review)...just buy it
I use MI water purifier, DIY filter change(i.e no service charge) : RO every year once, PPC every 2nd year and PAC every 3rd year. No issue so far. 5years usage experience.
The only problem with UC water purifier is the installation process in cities other than the ones where they have service centres. In other cities the installation process is carried out by a third party person and he'll take his own time to come. Otherwise the product is good.

Hii sir my home water's TDS is 430-470 ppm. So which one should I buy? Is RO filter required or not because RO destroy all the minerals in the water and it will be only liquid which have no minerals and RO reduce tds to very low level which is also not good. @@shahabahmad4916 I would suggest you to go with UC M1/M2 purifier. Even I was concerned related to the same issue of killing minerals but UC offers 4 in 1 life booster in which they claim that u wouldn't loose in such essential minerals. After doing lot of research I purchased M2 and of course you can go with M1 they both are same only difference is that u will be getting App access, touchpad, guide light & different modes.

Of course go for the RO purifiers because in your area tds is more than 200 and try to buy a purifier with less AMC and with copper technology. And yes every company is the same just buy with less AMC
1st time I brought it from company.. , Right now I change my Purifier Kit myself. Its working good. All parts are available on Flipkart & Amazon. But You have to knowledge & skill to service it.
Got Native M2 in recent sale with all card discounts & exchange it cost something around 12.6k , the quality is good, hopefully they live up to their claims, as they are relatively new in this space, the ppm post filtration is 60 with the unfiltered water having some 350 ppm, the good thing is there was no additional installation or pre filter cost, good to see a company not being sneaky i their sales, if this model succeeds, it’s going to disrupt the home RO market
Good job explaining actual expenses to buy and maintain a good water purifier. I am reminded of Consumer Reports (U.S.A.) which gave extensive technical reports also on various appliances. I understand that it's a big undertaking but maybe you could talk directly to different repair shops who fix these things to get their perspective on the technical merits. I was seriously contemplating to switch over to KENT from AQUAGUARD of which I am a customer for over 30 years. After watching your video, I have changed my opinion. Your video was very much informative and factual. Since we are living on the banks of Kaveri, the piped and ground water in my area is pretty reasonably good -- ranging between 300 & 500 pph. I am not so much infatuated of RO as it robs our body of vital salts. I simply go for a simple filter which filters out dust and sediments. That's all. Thank you. Keep up your good work.

What a video. 3 years back I bought livepure pro p++ on your recommendation at 8500 but in three years I've invested more than 10k on that in the name of service. The uv filter fused twice.
I just serviced my kent crystal star which is 1 year old water purifier, he told me that every year you have to change the filters which costs around 6500₹ which is too much !!!!! KENT IS LITERALLY EATING PEOPLE'S MONEY... and we bought this from Croma they also didn't tell us that this will be the cost after 1 year.... Total scam !!!!! Thank you for this video sir !!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

After watching your last video, I realised you didn't knew much about water purifiers, hence did my own research. This video of yours is what was my conclusion about water purifiers. Wanted to buy M1 but not available in most Tier 2 towns.
I had a basic Kent gold filter with UF & active carbon as the TDS is below 300 but then I realised that it wont filter microplastics & pesticides.
Hence for now bought a Kinsco purifier to keep annual cost low, along with two transparent pre filters. One with MLT filter and other with sediment filter. These I plan to change as soon as I see them muddy, probably around in 6 months.
Spoke to local filter guy and he has assured to change all the filters for around 2,000 annually from some good brand, though now I myself can change them after watching youtube videos.

For the cost, Kinsco Punch+ cost was around 3800. Two Pre filters were for 1200 with extra cartridges and the installation guy took 1000 for installation & parts like extra pipe, nozzle, valve etc. Total cost 6000.

For 2-3k they replace mostly everything using 3rd party parts.
What do you do for bike service?
You get them serviced at brand centre till it’s in warranty. Then you go to local shop for service.
Same with ROs, what will happen after 4 years ?
Will Native keep extending the warranty.
ROs lasts 10 years. Buy the one which has local parts available, kent , aquaguard etc.
Native M1/M2 are expensive & complex. My local service guy told me he can’t fix something like that so you’ll be paying hefty amount afters 4 years.

So, better go for local RO installers that supply and install a unit for around 5k and these units can be repaired easily by any technician or yourself. The spare parts are also cheap.

I bought hul pureit 7 l model on your recommendation in 15k within 10 month it stopped and have to replace gkk cost 4k again after 6 month today it is again blinking to replace gkk. TDS is 500, I think they internally programmed to stop in fixed time to sell filter.
Now thinking to buy old ceramic candle filter.

Claimed warranty of m1 2-3 times...no issue...1 Filter replaced even nob replaced and 2-3 visits all free of cost... I don't know how company is earning or not by this but building brand and customer relatioms for long term...(1 year review)...just buy it

I use MI water purifier, DIY filter change(i.e no service charge) : RO every year once, PPC every 2nd year and PAC every 3rd year. No issue so far. 5years usage experience.

The only problem with UC water purifier is the installation process in cities other than the ones where they have service centres. In other cities the installation process is carried out by a third party person and he'll take his own time to come. Otherwise the product is good.

Hii sir my home water's TDS is 430-470 ppm. So which one should I buy? Is RO filter required or not because RO destroy all the minerals in the water and it will be only liquid which have no minerals and RO reduce tds to very low level which is also not good. You are right...RO strips the water of all minerals..better store the RO water in a earthen pot....it will restore aome of the lost minerals
@@shahabahmad4916 I would suggest you to go with UC M1/M2 purifier. Even I was concerned related to the same issue of killing minerals but UC offers 4 in 1 life booster in which they claim that u wouldn't loose in such essential minerals. After doing lot of research I purchased M2 and of course you can go with M1 they both are same only difference is that u will be getting App access, touchpad, guide light & different modes.
After filteration the TDS of RO should be above 50ppm ( it is better to have up to 100 ppm) .Then you will get the minerals .
Sir I always watch your video before buying any electrical device.

Got Native M2 in recent sale with all card discounts & exchange it cost something around 12.6k , the quality is good, hopefully they live up to their claims, as they are relatively new in this space, the ppm post filtration is 60 with the unfiltered water having some 350 ppm, the good thing is there was no additional installation or pre filter cost, good to see a company not being sneaky i their sales, if this model succeeds, it’s going to disrupt the home RO market

Good job explaining actual expenses to buy and maintain a good water purifier. I am reminded of Consumer Reports (U.S.A.) which gave extensive technical reports also on various appliances. I was seriously contemplating to switch over to KENT from AQUAGUARD of which I am a customer for over 30 years. After watching your video, I have changed my opinion. Your video was very much informative and factual. Since we are living on the banks of Kaveri, the piped and ground water in my area is pretty reasonably good -- ranging between 300 & 500 pph. I am not so much infatuated of RO as it robs our body of vital salts. I simply go for a simple filter which filters out dust and sediments. That's all. Thank you. Keep up your good work.
