End was great! First the chase of Aston where he eventualy went off, then great overtake for 9th place and then awesome fight with Ferrari.

When you ran triples how bad was the spacing between each monitor? I see some gap but was that do to the Ausu bevel kit not fitting over the bottom of the monitor? getting ready to set up tripples and any help would be amazing bud. Just watched the last race and the ending of the first race was Epic

i'm interested how strong i should set the force feedback ingame (how much Nm). i love to drive the McLaren in ACC too, but i don't know with how much force on the wheel the driver has to deal in a real GT3 car. just a bit more compared to a normal car/sportscar with power steering, or much more becasuse of the additional downforce in curves at high speed? i really have no clue how much, i'd never driven a real high-powered sportscar. would be interesting, because i've got a fanatec podium f1 recently with plenty of force to mess around with xD

James, can I ask why you decided to swap out your Sparco Grid Q seat for something else? To be honest I bought the same one based on your belief that it was similar to what you've used in the McLaren, but I've been unhappy with it.
Either I take a fairly upright seating position with pedals near ground level or I get lower back pain. I can't even recline it that far to raise the pedals up or my head is not pointing forwards but looking up towards the ceiling. Also, the cushioning provided is totally inadequate. I'm wondering if you perhaps encountered the same drawbacks since recording your rig rundown video?

James how do you feel driving with the 285mm Cube Controls wheel compared to a 300 or a 310mm which can be found in a real GT3 car ? I have got a Fanatec McLaren GT3 and a Formula V2 and feel much more comfortable with the bigger diameter 😊 Always wonderded about those Cubes and Aschers with their 285 that seat in between 😅

Interesting you have the wheel animation on - the output lag, however small, always drives me nuts and is enough to distract.
High refresh rate solves that. I have a 3060 ti with a 165hz MSI monitor and there is genuinely *no* lag, and like you I was super sensitive to it on my old setup.

I think it's a pity that you still have the virtual mirror, bottom right gear/speed, virtual wheel and the lap displays despite a brilliant immersion. Also lower the monitors further. That looks totally cut off.
