    I Purchased a DNM DV22AR -200mm shock on eBay for $45 fit perfect and added 3.5inches of ride height in the rear. Any longer and I’d have to do the front upgrades.

      7x1" springs and 200mm replacement hex bolts. They sold kits but no more. This is all it was.

    I'm putting real Motocross handlebars on mine and a 2000w motor 2000 Watt battery

  • @xguitarist_

    Does the shock make going over bumps smoother? Mine does 35mph (2kW 60v) and most the bumps hurt at those speeds cause that shock wasn’t designed to handle that much

    • @darrenjackson6207
      @darrenjackson6207  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow 35mph ! How ! What motor and batteries are you using ? And how many miles per charge? And yes the shock makes the ride much better ....feels more like my high end mountain bike.

    • @xguitarist_
      @xguitarist_ 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Darren Jackson - The motor is brushless and controller was from electricscooterparts.com
      Motor fits right in once you countersink the screws and cut a little slot to allow the the wire to come out
      The batteries are sealed lead acid (5 9ah in series)
      I should really have a higher capacity but I wanted the bike to look stock to confuse the neighbors when we raced (hahaha) so that’s all that would fit
      I’m going to swap to lithium ion in the future tho cause there is a large voltage sag under acceleration and the range isn’t great (also SLA batteries are reaaaally heavy)
      If I don’t go crazy with the throttle I’ll get about 14 miles but if I’m feelin the need for speed it goes down to about 8-9
      Gearing is stock and will lift the wheel if you don’t lean forward
      Pulls about .5G from standstill (quickly tapers off cause of batteries)
      I wouldn’t recommend doing this if you’ve never worked with the electrical system in the bike but if you do want to do it please be extremely careful or have someone with electrical experience help you
      Oh yeah and to my knowledge this is the highest power you can go with without completely modifying the rear of the frame (with a change in gearing I should be able to get close to 50 mph but heat issues would become a problem and also I don’t have the guts to go that fast on a little bike)
