I genuinely was not expecting Sadamoto to *not* be the final boss. Lost Judgement did a great thing by having the guy who wants the main character dead as the second to last boss while making the final boss be someone who merely wishes to beat the m/c in an honourable duel as opposed to wanting Yagami/Kaito's head on a stick.
I wouldn't call Yagami/Kuwana an honorable duel so to speak as the fight broke out last second, but it was pretty much a duel to see who is right instead of one where one wanted the other dead, although minuscule chance Kuwana would have resulted to killing had he won Both of the final bosses have the same ting of deciding the issue with a fight, and I really fucking love it as well
Kenmochi is just built different. Half dead from the poison and he still broke the neck of Sadamoto, who’s crazy durable for surviving a fight with Kaito for that long

I think Kyoya surpasses *all three.* Iwami might of taken Haruka and Haruto hostage, Kuroiwa might of been a serial killer, and Jingu might of been Jingu, but none of them poisoned basically an entire party and made someone burn down an entire house without telling them (and knowing) unconscious people were in it. Kyoya *did,* and tried to frame Mikiko for all of it. And this is because Kaito didn't take the job. If he had, Kyoya would of already won. Even *Soma* had one standard, as he was a man of his word, as shown during the main game's Finale. Even after his deal with Kuwana, he could of EASILY taken a real gun and killed someone, but he decided to take a paintball gun instead. Kyoya is nothing but a lying bastard, and I honestly wish there was a QTE at the end that consisted of one thing. Buttonmashing the X/Square button to strangle the last bits of his health out of him.

That being said, he still probably wouldn’t have used a real gun because murdering a random high schooler for no reason would kinda defeat the fact that he genuinely thinks he’s the good guy, protecting order in Japan.
No one does boss fights like the yakuza games The music, the build up the dynamic intro the big moment where the hero and villian collide and the name of the character you are fighting is on top. It is pure art.
Everything this guy did and including what Kenmochi did to him after the fight genuinely shocked me dude. This series has always had its violence, but the violence on display here was truly something else.
I think all 3 villain themes have their own charm Penumbra feels like you're fighting a monster charging at you but no matter how much you try to hit it it doesn't flinch Viper feels like fighting an ambush predator and your the prey one wrong step and it's courtains This feels like something in the air like a poison cloud choking anything that it crosses paths with
Well it’s probably because of Yagaki being a king fu guy at first which makes it more intense if it’s about fighting people with assassination skills instead of being some muscular Gorillas that Kaito can easily take out, but instead he’s gotten fucked up and sent to hospital almost too many times by these weapon antagonists, glad he get to actually beat one up in the dlc

This was the final boss to me. Don’t get me wrong, that fight with him (avoiding spoilers) was fucking sick, but the lack of a dynamic intro kinda ruined the moment.
Most evil villain of all RGG, who would think that this small expansion to the LJ would have a villain of this caliber, this guy puts Kuroiwa and Jingu to shame with his cruelty.
Sadamoto's similarities to Soma - face and body - made me think they could be linked, and when Jun said he went through his dad's knife collection I was like yeah I knew it.. Soma's ripoff as they had to recycle his combat style as the mechanics were halfway made - don't get me wrong I freaking love it. Loved Soma's villainy as being a justified tool of death, loved Sadamoto's too as he represents the one who sees others as tools, nothing more. Incredibly well backgrounded villains. Love them to the grave really. RGG Studios is the best company at making characters and engaging thriller like novelas - the best I've seen my entire life. Oh and Kaito's rematch on a knife fight is a wonderful reference.
I like the idea that Kaito learned a bit of how to counter a knife from Yagami (there’s even a little reference to that in one of his ability cards) since he got so messed up from Soma
I love it too! I’ve seen people complain and compare him to Jingu as well, but honestly throughout his character was only reminding me of Soma…. in a really GOOD way. I think if we got this dlc in the next judgment or something , it might not have the same impact, but because it’s in Lost Judgment, where we do have Soma, there’s a nice link and consistency with the themes. I think it’s fantastic!
Lol yeah for some reason, knife is considered dangerous in LJ, the key here is the bleeding effect, which is 100% evident when Juzo's punch can make you bleed. Literally bosses that are considered strong use knife to bleed you, while stripping Koga from his gun moveset
All things considered sadamoto was a pretty solid final boss a very resourceful and intelligent fighter he knows he has no chance against kaito physically so he employs every dirty trick in the book

Soma isn’t technically bad to the bone. He is just doing what he thinks is necessary/right based on orders from Public Security/Bato. RK was a way to contain the former yakuza from Tojo Clan and most street thugs and Soma had to led it so Public Security would have a cover. Sadamoto on the other hand is a straight up dick who is just greedy.
I genuinely loved the Kaito Files more than Lost Judgment. RGG just said, I know we gave you a masterpiece, but let's add a little more peak on top of that.

I think most songs are meant to sync but the music loads before the intro so it's not synced properly

I feel like its this guy he is just a derranged psychopath getting off on killing dozens of people. Bryce felt more like a sociopath a person with a god complex that truly believed is stupid island plan would have worked in the long run, he had no qualms in killing but it felt more like just bussiness.
