Thanks chief! Yeah, I know you can put a sample into keyboard mode and play the sample with different pitches. But I don’t know to do that with other parameters such as filter or velocity 🤷‍♂️ there probably is a way, but not presented in a easy to access way as on the mpc. Unless I have overlooked something of course. 🤷‍♂️ Please share if you know!

@@ambrushadam when it comes to filter etc, that’s something that can be automated.. but these two devices have some similarities, but still very different.

Speaker in the live 2 is a true game changer! I was really surprised by the quality of it.

I've been deciding whether or not to pick up an MPC so video helped a lot! I started using Maschine as a hobby during the pandemic and I still don't quite know my way around it fully. Would you say the MPC is easier to pick up and learn? Would love a video on your workflow!

Thanks for watching! Personally I picked up the workflow of both pretty fast, if you goal is to only work from the device itself (not looking at the computer) the MPC is the easiest. It’s menu have an overview of all the features you need, while maschine you need to learn the shortkeys right away and how to access certain settings and features. I can definitely do a video on my workflow!

I know it's late but the MPC is not easier to pick up then Maschine nor is it even close, MPC has it's own language you have to get use to, although to be fair my experience with MPC has been through the software with a midi keyboard and not in standalone where maybe the language makes more sense.

@@Byronic19134 I disagree. I was using the Maschine when I first started making beats six years ago. But then I switched over to the MPC in 2018 and it's workflow was much easier to pick up then the Maschine workflow

If you are going to compare features, it would be better to do maschine+ since it is stand alone also.
