Not gonna lie, I feel pretty guilty for not overlaying my usual commentary over the later portion of this video. It was a good game to watch but not really for commentary so I thought I could get away with the different style of editing. I feel like I cheated you all so please forgive me, full commentaries starting back on Sunday :)

Games like these are honestly why I truly love the league experience! I despise how easily people will give up a game that could be won because it isn't easy to win in the first 5 minutes for whatever reason. As for your commentary in that situation it was just nice listening to the uplifting music and watching a beautiful comeback unfold like that! I love the commentary of course as it always kills me, but sometimes silence is the best wordplay one can deliver in certain situations. The end of this felt like one of those as the impact of that game would've been slightly diluted in humor preventing an immersion of such an excellent game with delightful allies. Of course I speak strictly for myself here. Love the content and gameplay. You can do this!

I'm with Eve on this one. I think it made a lot of sense to just play the dramatic music for a game that is both something every vet has seen at least once but also so rare that I'm sure almost all of us could feel the surge of seeing this impossible momentum swing.
Plus, you fuck with everyone often enough that I honestly expected a record screeching as someone hard threw the game and you lost anyway. :P

People worry about cs too much. Its not THAT important. When I play top lane, it all depends on the champ itself - if champ has a good waveclear - cs will be better, if not - I dont care much about it. If i am playing something that is good at killing champions, why would i waste my time on farming? I always get a good laugh when people on the enemy team are trying to ridicule me along the lines of: "OMG DUDE U SUCK! 80 CS in 40 minutes!", while ignoring the fact that i got about 25 kills and rocking a full build, while they wasted all their time on farming and accomplished nothing but LP loss for it. To be fair, it wasn't a 1v9, your teammates actually started peeling you off and the Akshan made some really good picks on Caitlyn and actually stayed alive, he also got some good revives as well. Even though Orn fed as fuck in the early, he actually knew that he was really tanky and that you were around to melt everybody, he made some good dives and never left you alone. It was nice to see how Nauti and Orn literally acted like shields for you against Blitz and Viego, since Gnar was just braindead-focusing the tanks lmao.
Very nice game tho, actually teamplaying here but is kinda bad that you took the credit for the victory, and hard shitting on Orn even when played really well at the end.

I had really similar game to this. Two differences only. I was playing jiinx and we lost. It was a while ago so my memory is not that gr8... Here it goes:
I was playing Jinx, I had support Thresh. Enemy bot lane was something like Bard and cait. For the life of me I can't renember our jungler and top champs. I know for sure we had LB mid.
      Enemy team:
      Fizz mid
      Cho top
Something in jungle I cant renember who...
      Cait, bard bot.
LB and our jungler got into a fight over something that happened at lvl 3. LB fed fizz really hard. Our top (it was either maokai or sion. Something along those lines...) lost his lane super hard to. My Thresh was INSANE! Peeled me, saved me a bunch of times. We were losing just because fizz ult was pretty much insta kill for me. And me and thresh were the only one who could carry.
Then we got into a same possition where you are in your base with 3 inhibs down we started winning teamfights but we could never push out. I got 2 quadras and 1 penta by never leaving a base! Game ended then fizz finally hit his ult on me. My zhonyas were on cd. GA was sold (also on CD) and I used my summs in a fight before. Really sad game. But my thresh and later on my top was good front line. Thresh keeping me safe, top taking all the damage, blocking skillshots. What a game!

If you notice, the initial Ornn vs Gnar fights were mostly pretty close. The reason Ornn thought he could still fight him is because Gnar always got out with very little hp, I know because I've done that myself many times... Had he waited a bit more and farmed up, he probably would've been able to kill gnar no problem

This is actually a really good video to learn how to comeback from games like these. The entire team rarely went outside of the base, farmed up and caught up in items and gold. It's just a waiting game, as long as everyone on your team understands that, these games become very very winnable. I've had teams do this as well. remember all, this is why you don't take inhibs until you know you can win the game within the time it takes the inhibitor respawning. Those super waves are worth a lot of gold and exp and the wave is always shoved into the enemy, so they can just wait

    • @allat0nce
      @allat0nce 3 ปีที่แล้ว +17

Enemies should have just taken baron, it was uncontestable with triple inhibs down. Once you have baron you dont need to flip a fight, just stay behind your 6 superminions buffing them and start dancing. Enemies wont be able to clear them in time.

We started joking around with "The Comeback Kids" and turns out that we had approximately a 70% chance of making a comeback from near defeat. What people have said in here is totally true. If you're that pushed, stay in base, close that gold and item gap, choose your fights wisely and pick'em off one or two at a time. Damn those comebacks felt good.

It's honestly stressful, both aspects. If you have a huge lead, you NEED to finish the game asap, before the enemy has a chance to get their power spikes later on. Most low ELO players will take their lead for granted, and fuck around, then they end up wondering how they lost.
As for the team making the comeback, it's an even bigger problem dealing with teammates who are probably extremely tilted, arguing in chat; just ticking time bombs on whether or not they'll afk or run it down.
Too many games I've had where both of these things have happened. LoL at it's best is when each side are even st skill level, both make good plays, and any team fight could go either or. Players aren't tilted, or running it down, or afk farming, etc. they're just playing to their strengths and do all that they can to win.

It's clear why these players are low elo by the video because those mistakes don't happen even in mid plat

I'm glad Rav managed to get a comeback in this game, that's great to see.
But considering how much he plays and talks about MF you'd think he'd know about her passive and that he should be changing targets each auto when hitting minions or towers for extra damage and to reset his W. Obviously in team fights you need to focus down people especially with PTA. But, watching him fight those super minions just made me sad as he hit the first until it died and then the others instead of alternating between the two for the extra passive damage to clear the wave faster. Same with the nexus towers. Obviously that small nitpick wasn't going to lose him the game, but I've legit had base races where knowing to do that made us win.
Still, that small nitpick aside, really great game. Glad to see some people aren't infected with the FF15 virus.
