There's something so satisfying about hearing less compressed versions of his SM64 DS voice clips
Honestly, this doesnt even look like an n64 game any more. It looks like an early pc port. These mods are incredible. Never would have imagined wed get such a good pc port of this game.
The "Yahoo" sound fits perfectly and the burned too, but the rest I think that doesn't fit at all, especially the "here we go", that's from double dash and that's meant to represent the excitement with a huge speed boost, not getting a star.
The "Here we go" part when he gets a star sounded really bad.

Sounds like a mixture of Mario Party 3 and Mario 64 DS.
I know this isn’t about this mod but the Render96 team should definitely make Luigi’s overalls purple-ish

People realize that Charles Martinet isn't going to do volunteer his Luigi voice for mods, right? They also realize the DS voice clips are heavily compressed? Idk, people can edit the textures and models to look like Skyrim if they wanted but nobody's able to make the perfect Luigi voice you have in your heads. Any attempts to impersonate aren't good enough apparently so idk what to tell you.
Never thought I'd see the day where Luigi can use the same powerful caps as Mario.

Woulda used "Imma Luigi, Number 1!" for getting a Star, but this is otherwise great.
