Hi. Most hospitals and senior care facilities in Australia only hire EN with experience. How can a newly graduate EN gain work experience in this regard.

I have completed my 3 years of diploma in nursing from Nepal and I have 8 years of experience. After coming to Australia I have done cert iv in aged care as well. Now I have enrolled in bachelor of nursing (starts from july 2024). My question is , am I eligible for enrolled nurse registration?

I think the logical answer would be why aim for an enrolled nurse registration when you can be registered as an RN after you have completed your studies. Besides registered nurses are more preferred than EN by hospitals and other facilities with Australian experience not your home country experience. Thats why you need to study there to be eligible.
