Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Also it seems it had an airbrake that was preventing Scrapman to fly faster at the beginning and when he accidentally turned it off he couldn't land because going too fast. Also nice detail with operation Overlord stripes
"Drift Mode" is probably just de/reactivating the auto stabilization
It just makes a helicopter engine activate when you steer
I liked that last one the most because it was realistic from the looks to the acceleration because it actually needed the entire runway. Simply amazing.

On multiplayer Monday, y’all should do a dogfight on trail makers, but y’all can’t test the planes and fight a dogfight with the untested planes, on trail makers like how you’ll do the Olympics on scrap mechanic

Thanks for the showcase scrapman, I no drag everthing except the front of the back wings. That's how you get the Extra speed effect. If you want the plane it's on the workshop look for (SR81)

I have an idea for a multi-player video one person builds a battleship and the other build a sub and the sub has to last as long as possible
DD is the typical naval designation for Destroyer. BB for Battleship, CL for Cruiser, CV for Aircraft Carriers. So JS Murasame (DD 101) is JMSDF Ship Murasame of the Murasame class of destroyers (100) and is the first ship (1) and namesake of the destroyer line. Just because a ship has guns on it does not make it a battleship. Technically it has to have guns of at least 15" in caliber and displaces X number of tons. Depending on who's defining it, it also has to have Y mm thick armor to distinguish it from battlecruisers, which would be a heavy cruiser ship with battleship sized guns on it.

Hey Scrapman, I realy loved your volcanoids series. There have been some more huge updates since you last played. Do you think you could make another series on it?
Video Idea:
You know how weapons lock can lock on to fragments and broken pieces of one creation. Try to make flares were a big bomber plane, that flies slow in comparison to fighters, drops with detachable blocks small piecies that make the enemies guns lock to them and not the plane.
I think some real aircraft have a similar mechanism.

The piston glitching on the F-22 is WHY the guns don’t shoot the main aircraft. Just like the drag glitch replaces bad aerodynamics, piston glitching weapons replaces valid hitboxes.
The GBU-43/B MOAB is the Mother of All Bombs, one of the largest non-nuclear bombs in America's arsenal.

I wish you would do this on console, cuz I know there are a lot of good console builders (myself included) with a bunch of creations you and your audience would find cool.
i have a idea for one of ur showdowns, u and ur friend choose from a fan made creation to battle against each other, in air, ground, and water, so air would be u both choose a fan made plane to dogfight, ground would be a race, and water would be a battleship fight or a submarine race whichever u would want to do
Another idea would be battling with any single one of the vehicles that you created against your friends. ANY. VEHICLE. YOU. BUILT.
@@Nausicaafan-go6lq they already do that, they do a vid where they build vehicles to face off against each other, like one of his vids was one of the vehicles was a bombing plane and another was a car that would do a lap around one of the maps trying to complete a lap

0:46 scrap, this update, the small canons bullets and minigun bullets, or anything that is a bullet that don't explode, it is now impossible to hit yourself, bullets pass through your creation without causing damage
I noticed a mishap on the back to the future Delorean, it said RAW, but if they want it to look authentic then it needs to be DMC for DeLorean Motor Company
and also the thing about tail wheelers like the P-51 mustangs and P-51D Mustangs the main wheels fold up but the tail wheel remains out, just wanted to throw that out there just in case someone wanted to build one to the original design.

I feel like we have seen a few of the ones from today. Specifically the DeLorean because it has the same exact look as the one you looked at not to long ago after the stickers update. I remember it because you gushed about the lights in the back. I could be wrong though

After seeing the Valkyrie Spear I would love to see a Multiplayer Monday in Trailmakers with dogfights using creations from the workshop. You can set power core limits and increase the power core limit each round with new creations. So much fun and chaos would ensue!

I think I've noticed servos having torque even if they dont move, could be crazy but i've swore I've had creations that sorta "glitched" in a roll, but I bet it was just the weird mechanics going on same way with the bike? Honestly idk
For how the servo works in the Harley Davidson motorbike while being connected like that is because the new update did something with the stackable helicopter don’t know exactly how still

Build cargo planes big enough to carry the specified cargo item (perhaps in teams). Then, take off from the start line and race to the collection point. Once the cargo is picked up, race to the drop off zone then to the finish line. You could do three races with a point system to determine the winner.

The boat is a destroyer it has depth charges ballistic cruise missles cwis(cwis is anti air) and of course a cannon

I'm confused how people make creations hover at the same height constantly with the height being set by the user constantly
With a helicopter or anything with rotating blades, you can use the flap wing blocks, set to 0.01 or 0.02 speed and 'Hold position' checked.

Is it possible to make a vehicle that can jump out of the water onto the aircraft carrier switching to a land mode then jump the ramp in the carrier and then transform into a plane? it would look really cool.
