well, I answered this in this video. You have to watch this video to understand that its not a very long process . its even easier than windows method. In this video I have shown viewers that flashing custom from by mac is very easy and more efficient . All you need to do is just download platform tools for mac os . Well that is the hardest step to follow actually . Because most of the people are using windows to flash . On the other hand windows files can be reached very easily via consumers, but in mac os the scenario is completely different. You must know how to access the android studio and SDK Tools. Their you can find the platform tools . Now just searching for platform tools for Mac is not very good searching point . In contrary you have to go the official android studio page and find the platform tools by yourself.
Go to this pages to download platform tools .
the steps of flashing roms by Mac os _*
1.open terminal and type (cd then paste the platform tools folder)
2. use (./) for any commands .thats it

You can only use adb sideload
