You should renovate the house you made for your first sims 4 family that you played on this channel. Can’t remember their names but they were like all blonde and tanned and you had that one modern patterned rug from base game in it somewhere. I think it was a duplex with two families but could be wrong

I love the realistic way you updated this home! And i totally relate to having elaborate toy/doll setups all over the house. I would want to leave them there for days so I could come back and pickup the storyline where I left off....but with limited play areas and 3 younger siblings, let's just say I'm glad Sims came out hehehe
Me and my siblings had full on soap operas growing up😭 Out stories were elaborate and full of drama lolol
This was really sweet. I love when sims homes feel very real. I think it would be fun to see you build a home for a recently retired couple. They’ve raised their family, found success in their careers, and now it’s their time to focus back on themselves and their relationship. They have time for hobbies and adventures now that they probably always put off when they were raising their family.
For me, growing up, we moved house every year - not because we had to but because my parents always got restless LOL! Sometimes we would literally move just a few streets over 🤣 - So I sadly never got to really personalise my bedrooms. The best I ever got to do in regards to personalisation was to put up posters, but I wasn't a fan of them except for one that I saved up for. It was a Spice Girls poster that took me many months to save up enough to get and I was so happy to FINALLY get my hands on it. I recall hanging right above my bed and it followed me wherever we went until it sadly got lost in one of the moves and I was so upset.
I loved this built! It sort of reminded me of Cheaper by the Dozen-that would be a cool theme to go by for another build! 12 kids with distinct personalities, and two parents.
I love how you made this like a realistic reno and respected what was already there! Also this place looks so lived in and I love that about it too. Great build!
The elaborate toy area set up for storytelling and playing is so on par for you!!! I love that aspect of the sims because it brings me the joy playing with dolls and stuffed animals did as a child

Even though you didn’t go with the clothing line, I appreciate you doing more things in decorating out of your comfort zone. I love the attention to detail. And the little decor items.
This is actually one of my favorite base game homes. I loved playing in it, the floor plan actually has a pretty good flow. Although I did open up between the dining room and kitchen, and I expanded the backyard. Love what you did with this house, it's stunning. 😀❤
I have been WAITING for a video of yours like this and I was NOT disappointed! I really loved hearing your ideas and seeing how you decorated this house, it reminds me of some older Deli vids that I used to love watching. Also I really appreciated you mentioning the no CC in the title; while I do support CC creators who come up with some incredible stuff, I personally can't play with any CC so this maxis-only building aligns with my own playstyle and it's definitely refreshing to see! Please keep doing more videos like this now and then!!!
just a little life tip, bread stays freshest in the fridge. you can also freeze bread for up to 2 months without it going stale or developing freezer burn. hope this helps :)
i love seeing the “family home”type of style builds !! it’s a nice breath of fresh air from the sleek cc / more modern type builds. i absolutely adore every build style you do though!

Been watching a bunch of your renovation and build videos and this was the first house ive renovated myself.
I only started playing The Sims 4 in April of 2023 because ive always been more of a loyal Sims 2 fan but when i got a new laptop i decided to give it a go.
Although my households were all a mess cause i guess MCCC just relocated 95% of the original townies to different lots and i had the Caliente's living in this one and for the longest time i actually thought it was their original home.
I did end up making a 3rd floor with a man's den for Don at the top floor and a ladder to climb up lol. Its not an amazing reno but it does have one of my favorite dining rooms ive done. Came to watch this now cause i started a new save and moved a family in there,hoping to get some inspiration from you 😊

For a challenge, have you thought of making a thrifted house? Could be antique thrifted. I’m thinking older lady or even a young couple trying to save money so they buy unique finds? Sounds hard to make unique pieces look put together but I’d be curious to see how you make it look!
It's so fun seeing the different way people design in Sims. I have the Elderberry's living on this lot in my game and renovated it to be very traditional.
Put your bread in the fridge! It helps keep the bread fresh for so much longer.
I really enjoy that you stayed true to real life renovations in this video and didn’t just bulldoze the whole thing.

Deli just a tip for when you’re making a canopy: the floor can be deleted before you put in the crisscross. It saves a lot of time ☺️
Also, I love that you kept it more of a real life renovation! It’s such a good challenge and now I’m inspired to do so too!

I laughed when you talked about breadboxes and then not everything being brand new - I literally just “inherited “ my grandmother’s antique mid-century modern Chrome breadbox and canister set when we cleaned up her house so she could list it.
Hi Deli, can you please make a video addressing the latest patch and kits announcement? The patch hardly fixes the many bugs the Sims 4 has these days and it’s so frustrating for us Simmers to watch them just pump out more content while not fixing the broken content they released recently and not fixing base game bugs either. The Sims 4 is broken and it’s honestly unbelievable that EA just keeps releasing more kits and broken packs. Please, we need Game Changers to speak up about this and give a voice to all the simmers that feel betrayed by the lack of transparency and ignorance towards players‘ issues from EA’s / The Sims Team‘s side

I love that dark green siding and it frustrates me so much that it is the ONLY swatch of siding that doesn’t have a matching plain version. It’s been like this since the game released! Both the thin siding and the thicker siding usually have two versions, the plain version, and the version with the trim on the corners. But for some reason this one swatch of green only has the version with the corner trim, and because sims 4 doesn’t always auto-place the corner trim correctly it isn’t always usable. I was so hopeful when they added the additional swatches to the siding that they had finally fixed it…but no! I keep hoping every time there is a patch, it’s the first thing I check, but still no matching swatch in the plain version of this green siding.
Please renovate a vacation home! Or a bar or a cafe haha! 💖 💖 💖

So, I love all of Deli's vids. This re-theme of this house is cute.
That being said, I personally *detest* family homes in the Sims, because the design always sticks the home with a "daycare" aesthetic (bright colors, toys everywhere, disorganized clutter, etc), that whilst realistic, is just not my cup of tea.
Now I just want to download that house and create the sims that live there 😂😂
It is strange that the devs stopped making built-in wardrobes. It would be nice if they eventually did a SDX for a base game one.
