pretty sure that's all they're gonna get for an apology out of her xD but in Toph numbers, her admitting to something is about as big as an apology and the two kids probably know that
The fact that Kuvira (who kept on saying that she'll crush anyone in her way) stopped attacking when Toph arrived. It really shows the kind of title Toph has to others.
@ron Yeah... no. Kuvira has no fear in killing The current Beifongs, she has no fear of fighting the Avatar. But when Toph arrived her face showed "I'm intimidated". And how was Kuvira outnumbered? At first Kuvira and at least over 20 soldiers were against Lin, Su and the twin brothers (That's just 4). When Toph arrived along with Bolin and Opal (And Su's husband and the emo child, but they're not fighters so I'm not adding). That's 7 of them against Kuvira and an army. It's simple maths, pls rewatch the episode and analyse it. Kuvira was not outnumbered, she was outpowered. Toph said "You give metalbenders a bad name" to Kuvira. Obviously Kuvira respects Toph since Toph was the one who invented metalbending, without Toph, Kuvira wouldn't have the skills she has now so it's quite obvious that Kuvira shows tons of respect to Toph so she won't fight her.
@ron Clearly if you read my name, I'm an Iroh fan. And I love how you think being a "Toph fanboy" is an insult. It's not buddy. Toph is a legendary figure in the Avatar universe so I'll take that as a compliment. Kuvira has never surrendered to ANYTHING except for when Toph came and for when Korra saved her life in the finale. Even after Kuvira lost her giant suit. Korra yells at her "GIVE UP" and Kuvira whispers "Never". You see? Kuvira doesn't back down for anyone, not even Korra. She was way more outnumbered in the finale and yet she still tries to win. And also just cause Toph said "her back is killing her" doesn't make her weak. She may not be at her prime but she is still hella stronger than she was back at her first appearance in ATLA. Old Toph can sense airbending if you rewatch her training fight with Korra compared back to The Blind bandit episode when she struggled to fight Aang. Toph would destroy Kuvira in Earthbending. Most of Kuvira's skill set is highly invested in metalbending which was why she barely bent earth. And it doesn't matter if Kuvira's army was fodder. Saying she was outnumbered is dumb.
This episode features three generations of the Beifong family. Opal tells Toph that a sky bison chooses its companion; the opposite occurred in Aang's time, as the Air Nomads were free to choose the sky bison they wanted.
I'm guessing tenzin changed that rule like he changed so many other things. Like unlike the previous airbenders they're going to help the world and not just stay secluded from it. A possible reason for the air by syndrome is because is because there aren't enough of them still so they can't pick and choose
One thing I love about her though words will never solve anything only actions physical actions will. She trusted korra finally after the probending arena attack and when she returned her Bending
Zhu li is great. She did all that. And never know who will save her or if she would even be saved by anybody. Thats a great courage and sacrifice. She was ready to die
To be fair, Iroh was about 60 in ATLA, the gAang in this show are all well over 80, with Zuko being 90. My grandfather fought in WW2 but he wasn't kicking anyone's ass at 90.
It always irked me that no one in the Gaang joined the White Lotus and became the next generation of badass old masters. You`d think Piandao would have inducted Sokka, Iroh would have inducted Zuko, Pakku would have inducted Katara and so on.
@@Guillhez Two of them did join the White Lotus (you even mentioned them). Also, the ATLA Team Avatar members are either dead, or in their late 80s/early 90s. That’s around two decades older than all but one of the old masters in the original show. Even being a old master has its limits.
Im not that into comedy anime but there is one that literally made me puke from laughing while eating dinner: Asobi Asobase. Its utterly absurd and quite relatable at the same time. Also, almost nobody has reacted to it yet so it could be quite a pull because it has quite the cult following.
Someone's probably mentioned it in the comments on one of these videos, but there has been some fan speculation that Sokka could be Su's father. Su has a slightly darker skin tone than Toph and likes to collect meteorites, like what Sokka's space sword and Toph's bracelet were made from. Also, the fact that Bolin doesn't feel the need to follow up with "who's Su's dad" could be because it's something the characters have already learned about even though it wasn't shown on screen.
MAN THE FIGHT SCENES IN AVATAR ARE ALWAYS SP DAMN GOOD I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS AVATAR IS AN ANIME!!!!! AND YES THEY BEEN MENTIONED THAT THEY WERE HALF SISTERS THEY HAVE DIFFERENT DADS!!! JULEE IS AN AMAZING CHARACTER AND YES OF COURSE TOPH ISN'T GONNA FIGHT LIKE THAT BECAUSE SHE'S TOO OLD AND STUFF BUT ITS STILL GOOD TO SEE HER DO A LITTLE SOMETHING!! BOLIN FAN BOYING OVER TOPH IS ALWAYS SO FUNNY AND GOOD CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU REACT TO THE REST!!! @Imon_Snow
@@controlman7490 Well Toph isn't in her prime anymore and when it comes to fights it's hard to say without being biased and favoriting one character over another.
Series continuity Toph recalls lavabending being a rare ability. She first learned about this specialized bending technique in Toph Beifong's Metalbending Academy. The domes protecting Zaofu have been dismantled as per Kuvira's orders in "The Battle of Zaofu". Lin recalls her reconciliation with Suyin in "Old Wounds". Toph mentions opening the Beifong Metalbending Academy in The Promise. Bolin recalls learning to lavabend in "Enter the Void". Toph has a sore back from fighting Korra in "The Coronation".
Kuvira deciding not to fight Toph reminds me of when Omni man didn't fight Battle beast when he was whooping his son lol. Both times Omni man and Kuvira knew they were outmatched.
Can't they just shove Raiko off harmony tower already.... The reaction to Su's armor was priceless. I practically jumped in my seat going "hell ya!!" when I first saw the scene (back when it "aired") lol. Toph's "You give metalbenders a bad name" expression is right in the feels of everyone lol. You do NOT piss Toph off! Also, how Asami hasn't "accidently" caused Varrick any bodily harm yet is beyond me... Girl has more patience than me. I'd ask Korra to sling shot him & Wu across Ba Sing Se..... 3 episodes ago...
Every time I see this episode I think to myself " if toph was in her prime no doubt they would let us see her whoop kuvira" she would've made her sit in the corner
Goofs When the mecha suit shoots a stream of fire at Lin and Suyin, the wooden cage is fastened down on all eight corners. When Lin breaks two of them, however, the bottom four have disappeared, allowing the cage to swing. When Kuvira orders some of her men to hurry down toward the prison hold, the slips of her jacket are missing between her legs. When Suyin rips off a metal door and spins it during her fight with Kuvira, its handle and hinges have disappeared by the time she stops.
I do like Toph's characterization as a mother..and her rocky relationship with Lin. It does seem like a her thing to do...have two lovers and being causal about it and maybe not entirely thinking about how her others might feel about a given situation. In ATLA she was frustrated with Aang too because he didn't learn the way she did. I this way more believable than Aang's favouritism towards Tenzin, where he took only him on special trips. I know people change and airbenders were close to Aangs heart but he always was such an inclusive and tolerant person, that in s2 I found it a bit OOC for him to push two of his children aside.
Kya and Bumi loved Aang, its just he spent more time with Tenzin, that is what they were upset about. They merely wanted more time with Aang, but they never said Aang was a bad dad, he just wasn't a perfect dad. Aang was probably the busiest person in a changing world
Watch the Good Place for the "haha" ;) It's a brilliant show, already finished and rivals ATLA when it comes to satisfying endings (I'd say it's even better).
bolin's line "kinda have a headache now" is the funniest thing in this show for me. I laughed so freaking hard when I first watched I couldn't breath for a second lmao
If Toph felt like it, she could solo all the TLoK villains at once--but she learned from Iroh and Zuko that the Avatar has to be the one to do these things. Also she is 110% out of fucks to give.
I'm sorry, but even she (or really, anyone who isn't the Avatar) is not going to do much to Amon, because holy hell that guy was massively overpowered. Bloodbending with his mind alone.... Every other human villain I think she could easily beat.
If you want a relaxing show watch "I've been killing slimes for 300 years and maxed out my level" or "Konosuba" or "That time I got reincarnated as a slime" or "Misfit of demon lord academy" or "mushoku Tensei (Jobless reincarnation" all good relaxing animes to watch

Is that a JuJutsu Kaisen Protagonists Quartet T-shirt on Abi?! I love it!!!
The fact that Kuvira (who kept on saying that she'll crush anyone in her way) stopped attacking when Toph arrived. It really shows the kind of title Toph has to others.
I mean, without her metalbending, Zaofu, and the Earth Empire wouldn't exist at all.
@@bkjeong4302 Yeah, a lot of people including tyrants have a lot of respect for Toph.
"So Abi; do you want braids or pig tails?"
"Bitch i'm cute in both."
I’m gonna be 100% honest. Sue turning a spinning piece of metal into armor was 10/10 the best moment of this episode for me
Toph: "Damn! Kuvira's Really Tryna Kill My Children!? She Must Not Know I'm Right Down The Street!" 😂😂😂
All I gotta say is that Lin deserves better than what she got from so many people in her life 😤
One thing I love about her though words will never solve anything only actions physical actions will. She trusted korra finally after the probending arena attack and when she returned her Bending
The Tick is a pretty chill, fun show. And I haven't seen anyone really react to it, so you'd be trailblazers!
Zhu li is great. She did all that. And never know who will save her or if she would even be saved by anybody. Thats a great courage and sacrifice. She was ready to die
Old Toph: you gonna leave it to the kids
White Lotus in BaSingSe: We will set you free
To be fair, Iroh was about 60 in ATLA, the gAang in this show are all well over 80, with Zuko being 90. My grandfather fought in WW2 but he wasn't kicking anyone's ass at 90.
It always irked me that no one in the Gaang joined the White Lotus and became the next generation of badass old masters. You`d think Piandao would have inducted Sokka, Iroh would have inducted Zuko, Pakku would have inducted Katara and so on.
@@Guillhez
Two of them did join the White Lotus (you even mentioned them).
Also, the ATLA Team Avatar members are either dead, or in their late 80s/early 90s. That’s around two decades older than all but one of the old masters in the original show. Even being a old master has its limits.
Love that Jujutsu Kaisen shirt! best anime outro ever
there are actually several indications that Da Vinci might have been looking to get the young men, rather than the ladies :P
as well as one of the Beifong twins who was clearly crushing on Bolin :D
Im not that into comedy anime but there is one that literally made me puke from laughing while eating dinner: Asobi Asobase.
Its utterly absurd and quite relatable at the same time.
Also, almost nobody has reacted to it yet so it could be quite a pull because it has quite the cult following.
YESSSS
vouch, one of the funniest anime I've ever watched
Bolin is us when he meets Toph.
OMG SOOOO CLOSE RO 200K!! OMG I LOVE U GUYS!
The fight between Kuvira and Sue is one of the best in all of avatar. I wish it was a bit longer
There is a Korra vs Aang fan animation on TH-cam which I think is really worth checking out.
Bolin and his future in laws lol
did i miss what happened to 4x8?
Someone's probably mentioned it in the comments on one of these videos, but there has been some fan speculation that Sokka could be Su's father. Su has a slightly darker skin tone than Toph and likes to collect meteorites, like what Sokka's space sword and Toph's bracelet were made from. Also, the fact that Bolin doesn't feel the need to follow up with "who's Su's dad" could be because it's something the characters have already learned about even though it wasn't shown on screen.
>enters the fight
>saves her family
>"you gave metalbenders a bad name"
>doesn't care to explain
>leaves
TOPH 🐐
That su vs kuvira fight is fireeeee🔥 and toph is crazy powerful just imagine her in her prime
Where did you get that jjk shirt abi👀
@Imon_Snow
@16:06
Toph 1st day teaching Aang : The key to earthbending, is your stance.
Toph 80 years old: Destroyed the enemies key.
#TrueMaster
Toph pulled up and showed Kuvira who’s boss
Yet there are some people who still think Kuvira can defeat Toph in an earth-bending battle smfh.
@@controlman7490 Well Toph isn't in her prime anymore and when it comes to fights it's hard to say without being biased and favoriting one character over another.
Have yall heard about the theory on Sokka being Suyin's dad? 👀👀
One of my favorite episode of the season!! And by the way did they finished with Dr. STONE season 2? or not?
Series continuity
Toph recalls lavabending being a rare ability.
Been waiting for this episode
I think Toph never talks about her baby daddies because she doesn't feel like explaining why they both died of a crush pelvis.
Toph: Lin, do you really want to know what happened to your dad? 😏
"You give metalbenders a bad name!" is Toph for "Do that sh*t one more time and I'll f*ck you up"
Toph is weak now
@@MansaMusaRJ That's just straight up wrong
Where is 4x8??????
If you need a chill, fun show: The Owl House, Letterkenny, What We Do in the Shadows, and Future Man (this ones more like Rick & Morty)
Or futurama
I just want to say y’all look good!!
If they need a chill happy show Grand blue is always there
Can't they just shove Raiko off harmony tower already....
Honestly, her skill level is such that she would probably STILL win that fight (albeit with some difficulty).
@@bkjeong4302 true true true....god I wanna see old toph whoop kuvira
Such a dope episode
the jujutsu shirt!!!
Y’all’s screen looks so blocked out?
see? At least they can make Korra vs. Kuvira solo fight look like Sue vs. Kuvira in this ep. Even she doesn't win, she doesn't look bad as well
Great reaction!
SAIKI K IS REALLY FUN AND LAID BACK
Goofs
When the mecha suit shoots a stream of fire at Lin and Suyin, the wooden cage is fastened down on all eight corners. When Lin breaks two of them, however, the bottom four have disappeared, allowing the cage to swing.
When Kuvira orders some of her men to hurry down toward the prison hold, the slips of her jacket are missing between her legs.
When Suyin rips off a metal door and spins it during her fight with Kuvira, its handle and hinges have disappeared by the time she stops.
if you guys need a lighthearted show PLEASE react to parks & rec
Aang was probably the busiest person in a changing world
@@nanossquad1706 I wouldn't doubt that is also another reason why tenzin changed a few of the rules involving the air nation

Yoo, i like the jujutsu shirt of the ed.
I WILL NEVER GET OVER THE FACT THAT TOPH DID NOT DESTROY KUVEIRA. That reason she gave at the end, was so meta lmao
you guys should watch insecure and the good place if you haven't
Here's a chill show to just laugh at : The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. I am sure you'll love it despite the name.
Spiritual nuclear proliferation is not the answer Mr. President.
Watch the Good Place for the "haha" ;) It's a brilliant show, already finished and rivals ATLA when it comes to satisfying endings (I'd say it's even better).
If they like himbos they'll love jianyu but if they love hots nerds chidi when he is shirtless
Lok fucked up. Toph could never be a bad mom. She was a brat when she was 12. But she should have grown out of it. She did care for people
you guys should watch arcane, i mean its not a chill or happy show but i do recommend it.
Y’all close to 200k👍🏾
Ya'll should watch Disney's Gargoyles. If you want to, of course.
bolin's line "kinda have a headache now" is the funniest thing in this show for me.
@ron Nope, you are nitpicking and biased, I win, bye bye.
If you want a chill anime you should watch "O Maidens in Your Savage Season". It's only 12 episodes and it's hilarious!
Toph 💜💜❤️💯
If you want a relaxing show watch "I've been killing slimes for 300 years and maxed out my level" or "Konosuba" or "That time I got reincarnated as a slime" or "Misfit of demon lord academy" or "mushoku Tensei (Jobless reincarnation" all good relaxing animes to watch
Bolin ended up getting best girl beifong
You don't find Asami attractive?

Abby, I don’t know if you knew this, but Leonardo DaVinci was uhhhh super gay 😳😳
