Very, very good. It's humourous, yet not over the top and tells the story in ten minuets without any speech. Brilliant! I loved the little daleks that popped up occasionally and the way the oven was a droid. The meerkat on top of it was particularly funny. Absolutely fantastic!
I cant believe this was made 10 YEARS ago!!! Its brilliant! So many lol moments. Love the food theme throughout. Doing Star Wars stop motion myself recently, i kbow this was a tonne of work!!! Sets were great throughout👍🏽👍🏽
If you've never done stop motion before, you really need to try it before you commit to such a massive amount of work. I use Windows Movie maker (free software). As for techniques, keep it running smoothly, not blurry and don't rush it.
The 77 line had 4 points of articulation - head, arms and legs. Ebay I guess would be your best bet for loose figures, depends on what condition you want for your money though. I made the finalists with my version of Empire Strikes Back last year on the SW contest, didn't win but George Lucas actually watched my movie.
I've never used Stop Motion Pro sorry, but you'll need to buy the soundtrack cd's or the mp3s. 5 minutes of good stop motion will take some time to make though.
Well it would take me a month for a 5 minute film, working on it a few hours a day. All depends on how many sets you are going to make, how long it takes to make them, how many frames per second you are going to have to photograph.... all kinds of factors involved in making a film
@paulrowley1969 I recently acquired the 12 original New Hope figures from ebay (one 1995 repro). They'll be the stars in a Star Wars stop motion picture I'll be making this summer (to avoid school distractions). Hopefully I could have you watch it when its complete. Great work here.
This is hilarious! You have an awesome sense of humor and stop motion skill. I think you and VILLAFARRELL on youtube are ruling the star wars stop motion scene 👍🏼👍🏼 great work
We certainly have a lot of the same stuff. Your sets are way bigger than mine though. You must get serious back ache reaching over to animate figures in the middle of a large set ?
@101Anakin1 Thanks for the post on my channel! My Star Wars stop-motion begins shooting tomorrow morning and will be publicly released on December 3. I can't wait for yours to get in gear; I'll keep look out for some figures on sale.
@101Anakin1 All I can say is be patient. It took me about 2 weeks before finding mine. Don't be tricked by "high" looking prices. If its $60, thats still $5 a figure, which is incredibly low, especially for a vintage lot. I recommend looking out for "Buy It Now" products, where theres no competition. If you want a specific key-phrase to search, "star wars vintage figures" should do just fine. Other than that, I just wish you luck in getting the figures.

Many thanks, the software I used was called Crazy Talk 5. Works well if used just a few times in a movie.
The best movie stop motion I've ever seen!

The Death Star walls are taken from scans of the old Palitoy Cardboard Death Star from the 1970s.
Thanks, he was holding a Witch Pez. Can't remember where I got that from though.
The backgrounds were from one of the SW sites offering custom backgrounds to print out.
Don't think I had any vintage Star Wars in there, but there are older figures from other lines.
Loved all the little Easter Eggs.
I use Adobe Photodelux and add the sabres on a frame at a time. Should be easier with After Effects though.

Just search for whatever background you need via google images.
You'll need something to convert still pictures to avi files - for that I use Monkey Jam (free). Presume you already have a tripod ?
