If you want a free way of adding detune and the wobbly effect, you can use fruity delay 3. Just turn your dry level, feedback level, and delay level (if you’re still getting a little bit of ambient delay) all the way down and simply mess with the “time” knob under modulation. :)
Keep in mind when chopping samples: If you zoom into the waveform on Edison all the way, you wanna chop it as close to the center green line as possible to avoid clipping.
good looks, can u chop both the beginning and ending on a high or low wave to avoid clipping too? i.e. the end & beginning of sample arent close to green line but are same distance away?
@@stevstrums23 yeah theres a fade in/fade out button . looks like slopes or ramps. But if you do that zoom in extremely close so you dont mess with the timing too much. The point is just to get rid of the clipping part but salvage as much as possible
..., are you referring to the "pops and clicks" in the actual sample?.......if so, I find that using "Declicking Mode" on your 'Instrument Channel' works best. Try the different modes( i use Transient - no bleed 99% of the time ) here then go into playlist, zoom in and shift markers left or right IF you must to adjust the fade in/out points to taste
ay for my Ableton gang -- (if any haha) Ableton's "fruity slicer" is just your simpler with your sample in it on a midi track, and then you go the "slice" on the bottom left of the simpler plugin. I will automatically slice it up for you at points that it thinks will be good, but you can change it to beat, or one of the other presets! :)
I'm a Filipino and that sample that you use is from Enrico de Jesus Puno, better known as Rico J. Puno. He was a Filipino singer, television host, actor, and one of the music icon here in the Philippines. He died last October 2018 cause of Cardiac Arrest.
You don't have to put mute notes to stop your 808s. You can go to the sampler of the 808 and go out the envelope tab and turn all knobs down except for the hold. It will make the sound stop when the note is released.
For Fx, i use a stock pluging called "squezer". Is to lofi the sample. For detune i use fruty flanger, And for a vinyl effect i cut low frecuencies and add a vinyl warth sound.
Just in case anyone comes across the comment section and see this. You can also use fruity slicer for drum loops as well. You can create countless drum patterns from just one loop using fruity slicer.
To get fx similar to rc 20 without actually having rc 20. Go into fruity delay 3. Turn the dry nob on the right hand side, all the way down, do the same with the time nob on the left hand side. Once you do this correctly it will no longer give you any actual delay. From there: The rate for a wobble effect as well as the time nob(the nob directly next to the rate nob) as well for addition warping. The feedback dist nobs for saturation. For a bit crushing type effect use the amp rate also the one next it (bits) will give a vynl noise, like crackling but not exactly the same. You can switch between lp bp and hp to change up the sound as well. Hope this helps! If you look at the : "top ten vsts" video by busy works beats it goes further in depth.
For the detuning I simply open up patcher on the chanel, then I drag a line from fl studio to fl studio and choose the preset humanizer. It's simple and uses stock plugins
Appreciate this vid lots cause I’ve been trying to get better at sampling shit without taking hours and hours working on just one sample so this deff helps efficiency wise. Plus I only use stock plugins so this vid deff helps 🔥
chu big shout out to you bro all your beats videos and the tutorial videos. be on point and i learn more and more each time . thanks for help me get better with my production

key finders ok but if u can afford it get serato sample or mixed in key. i haven't had the best results from key finder. it also help to develop your ears to pick up key too.

@@ThatOnePizzaMan no problem man :)
there is also another way, by going into Fruity Flangus and choosing the modulation one and turning the wet volume down on the top right knob
You can use the Convoler as well.

Use isotope vinyl as the vinyl plugin. It’s free and it’s used a lot by famous producers

I’m getting back into fl studio after years of outboard hardware only. Using it as a sequencer and sampler .
Chu the best YT Producer NO CAP👒🎩
Hahaha you gass me homie, but I appreciate you!!!
You guys NEED TO try to put „patcher“ on your melody and select the „humanizer“ preset. - best stock detuner in my opinion!!!
Aton gotta try that
For Fx, i use a stock pluging called "squezer". Is to lofi the sample.
For detune i use fruty flanger,
And for a vinyl effect i cut low frecuencies and add a vinyl warth sound.
i just got FL and have no idea what im doing, and this is my new fav. channel. this dude rocks
You can render the melody and automate the pitch, or just use iZotope Vinyl and turn the warp knob up.
• I know that sample it’s from a old Filipino song 🇵🇭 popular too with the older people •
Haha, I had a Filipino friend whose parents used to listen to him all the time!!!
Chu • the way you flipped it tho 😫 •

Super Dope intell. Been doing this a minute lil bro, but it so refreshing and intellectual the way you drip on it. Respect..

Ay- also be sure to pitch shift it. I would definitely shift this one down 4-6 semitones. Also makes it much harder to find the sample you used ahaha
iZotope Vinyl is free. It's not as advanced as RC 20 but it gets the job done in my opinion.
You can use Patcher to add Youlean Humanizer. It adds detune and some other effects
Chu is a blessing to the producing community.
