Thanks so much for making this video! Extremely helpful and would love to see more vids in the future demonstrating how to build out live rigs utilizing Neural DSP products (which are incredible!). Thanks again!
Steven, GENIUS! I really appreciate this one alot because my midi Commander is a pos, and doesn't work and I have to ensure Presonus works with my next MIDI pedal. This way, will hopefully bypass that and help me. Thanks!! \m/!
I made something similar for recording in my house, with Reaper. Had a complication when i wanted to take this automation to my bands project, bc we have a main project and i needed to time track de clock with midis ins and outs, and it wasnt very efficient. I ended up sending the CC's from the main configuration project, and learnt with Gig performer. I can change smoothly, but i can't automate some things like volume adjustment, or pedal expression.
Maybe I could do something showing off how to do this sorta stuff with NDSP plugins in Studio One 5 (particularly now studio one has a new performer mode)
I set up a midi region on my audio track in Logic and mapped the preset changes to the correct note values. The plugin still isn't changing automatically though. Is there a Logic trick that is different from Pro Tools?
Hey steve thank you for this knowledge can you make a video and walk us through how to set that up on Prot Tools From SCRATCH.. i hope you will read this comment . .thank you steve...
can you only use a fortin hydra 8 switch pedal or are there other smaller pedals eg, 2 or 4 switch devices you can use to assign amp and preset channel changes?
I have one question left; Where are the midi settings stored? With each preset? I just want to switch presets with my FCB1010 and set that up on my computer at home and then transfer to the one in the rehearsal room...
I´m a beginner at Ableton live 12, i manage to create two tracks, one for my guitar and other for the backing track, automation configured on the track of my guitar, the neural plugins and changing in the correct time, but each time they change there´s a pause in the tracks. feels like the plugin is taking a bit longer to change and this is causing the pause. the CPU is at 17% at every plugin change, memory and disk are also fine. Can any one help me with some insights? I use the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 studio as audio interface, sample rate is 44100 and buffer 256.
I finally figured it out in logic but even with my buffer size at 32 there is still a bit of lag when doing a note patch change. Anyone know anything else I could try?
If my reaper midi keyboard piano row is not the same as pitch of the Neural dsp midi mapping, how do i find out which note should i be using in the reaper piano row? Say if i set C4 in Neural midi mapping
I know this is a year late, but basically subtract 2 octaves from whatever you set in the Neural midi mapping to figure out what to set it as in the DAW. So C4 (in midi mapping) -2 octaves would be C2 (in DAW). Hope this helps.
man please make one for logic too , this went over my tiny head
Yeah I’m having trouble getting the midi to trigger anything in the plug-in. Wondering what I may be missing.
Also for UA's Luna as well

This gave me so many ideas to do live thanks man!
This is Awesome, thanks. It works with Studio One also.

Awesome guide, thanks for going very in detail.

The hell is that guitar? Super pretty!

Awesome content!
do you write a midi part for every single plugin ( if you change from abasi to plini as an example) ...???? extreme good video thx.

how do you do this in abelton?!?!?

Anyone else getting a grey interface glitch in Fortin Cali on the Mac with Logic? All the other ones work perfect!
Hi, How are you sending the piano roll MIDI commands to the NeuralDSP INSTRUMENT track? I"m using Logic...
Aw I figured it out... Put the plugin on a MIDI track, and Side Chained the input to the plugin
@@SimoneGPhillips OMG U MADE MY DAY
@@SimoneGPhillips thank you so much
How do you do this? I'm using Logic as well, and cannot for the life of me figure out what you mean by sidechaining the input to the plugin
I finally figured it out in logic but even with my buffer size at 32 there is still a bit of lag when doing a note patch change. Anyone know anything else I could try?
How did you do it?
same here, bit of lag, why?
Maybe it’s ur processor?
@@wimmeltje u need to bypass it, no sending a input midi
Cheers
@@giuseppebernardini9254 thx!
Airstep setting Please also.
..and if I am write a preset in my DW change only in one abasi instance, I have bad dropout between the two presets...
please make this video with fl studio daw please
