Thank you so much Chris... I have already had a few on my ham sandwiches, lol. Will be pickling a few with vinegar later in season... the plants wont get loaded with peppers until late fall, then I will have hundreds.
Thanks Jun, my little rabbit mother has been with me for about 5 years now, very tame. She has been eating up my sunflowers though, so had to move some and had a few larger ones eaten down by her, but that's ok.
I appreciate that Mike. It has been a dry and difficult week due to 90s weather... wilting.. I am trying in this red clay, really horrible to grow in and didn't want to invest a fortune adding soil.
Thanks Dan, I think so because that should be plenty big if you keep the watered good because they suck up a lot of water when growing. I am excited to hopefully see a picture / video of those in a few months.I have only grown them a couple seasons before and never really concentrated on them like this year.
I usually do, have a couple bags of dried carolina reapers and trinidad scorpion peppers from a couple years ago I need to shop up... already bought the shakers... were a planned gift but never got around to grinding them up... they are dried. Banana peppers work best pickling with vinegar and jalepenos, habeneros... hot peppers like reapers get ruined in vinegar I think and get too sweet.
some nice peppers and banana already!!! Garden is looking great Dave!!!!

Will you pickle/preserve any of the peppers?
