How to Farm [ SOLAS ] and my opinion on the SOLAS RUN

- Hello guys ! If you have been following my videos you may have heard that I was against Solas run. But I wanted to do it to be able to tell you guys what it takes and how it really feels to do it .

I'm actually farming my 8th solas card, after the card drops just keep going until you finish Thirain storyline (takes about 15 more mins). After that you can easily obtain 20 green engraving books and 10 blue engraving books from quests (takes about 10minutes).
that's why people say that Solas farm its actually a Souless farm.

If you have Seria completed or not even rest cards you gonna get by chance or from few chose one packs you get
I always told myself I would ONLY do this if I needed 1 maybe 2 cards to finish the deck before then I’m good and plenty busy with my 100000 other daily’s
I would only recommend this if by any chance you need a few extra Solas awakenings to finish the set. Card sets finish naturally as you play the game via all the random packs you get.
Some things are meant to be long term. Don't burn yourselves out thinking you HAVE to rush this. If you have the stomach for this do it like 1 run per week or something.

As for someone who have done every collectible that I could farm for besides RNG gated ones... and also 144 roster lvl.... i am never ever doing this unless it's my 30th awakening set or maybe if I need just 1 for the 12 awakening

I got 2 solas off 1 character on my grind so thats great
After you finish the Solas run, you can KT Vern and then go kill Caspiel for the guaranteed drop for the Forest of Giants set, too. Might as well combine your farming as much as possible

I have issue with card slot always full, if i delete some,, do the book card collectible set stat deleted too??since some book set give a nice stat

but this card set is for supporters and make only sens when dps have the other holy dmg set with 15% holy dmg?
i wish they added some other way to get solas, bcs wasting 5,5 hours seems just so unrealistic
this is a great idea because it doubles as a way to try out and really learn new classes
no, this is a terrible way to do this, you'll end up hating a lot of classes if you try to experience them this way. you don't get to experience what a class has to offer until you get the skill points, runes, class engravings, tripods, and stats.
@@georgian6 it's nearly the only way, other way is to level to 30 and go back to trixion. You get Solas at level 34ish... it works just fine as a class test.
This isnt a class test its just mindless grinding.
You can watch videos on classes.
Do class tester in beginning.
because you learn a class in the trash story mode content, not even lvl 50, half of the skills unavailable and no skill points? Do you even play this game?
Do we not get it if we used the 2 powerpass? I just checked and I have only 1. Am guessing feiton powerpass will also not give the card...
Yeah brand new character with no pass or knowledge transfer . You basically need to do the east luttera campaign
Hello my question is how did u get so meny Vrad cars. Feels like thats the hardest rare card in the game to farm.. Did u run dungeons or have u been lucky when opening card packs?
I farm them from the dungeons , i`ll probably make a video on Vrad

@@Kleptrotop anecdotal from the card tracking Discord I'm in, but Vrad seems to be right around 5%. Make sure you use the shortcut to skip the chunk after the drawing room!

I did this once just to delete my deadeye because my character slots were all used up to make way for Glaivier, hard grind and never doing it again !!

That is a total of 90 hours for cards, who give you 7% crit. That is insane, Korea grind at it´s worst....

i actually need 1awakening to get the 12 awakening. and i can do it with 1 solas cards. oh noo do i really have to do this 6 hour grind this weekend? I was hoping I can skip it, been doing card pack Islands every day, been doing all of my abyss dungeons (t1, t2,t3), no luck on legendaries. guess i have to do it

i'm so glad i just farmed cardpacks through doing south vern on all my alts - got my 12 awakening lostwind cliff a week ago, i'd never run 5 hours trash story for only one card lol
Knowing that you need 15 cards to get that 5 awake is quite overwhelming
yeah but you could also just awaken the legendary cards only requiring 2 of each, we get a free legendary card each week from the event so most people have one of them star 1 meaning solas isn't required
run it with a different class you havent tried yet and maybe youll discover a new favourite
I got pretty lucky with legendary cards that i literally only need to do 1 run. But a single solas from a card pack would be fcking nice though

@@chicochi-sr6yo Yup. Ideally, you just wait a bit especially with the random legendary cards from events atm. The first awakening on legendarys only needs that 1 card. You need 1 awakening on 2 legendaries to hit 12, but beyond that any extra legendary cards drastically reduce the number of Solas cards you need to get. I'd recommend doing this once it takes you like 4-5 runs or something to finish the set. Also, you can finish some adventure tome stuff (2nd dungeon run, some vistas/bosses/mokkokos on the way) during your first 2 runs making them not actually waste your time.
This card set is good for supports and will only shine when dpsers have the light of salvation set.
You'll burn yourself for no reason, just farm to get the 12 awakening bonus aka 7% crit and let the green cards came by their own, Solas is actually a normal drop from greens.

create an alt, get the card, delete that alt, create another one, 15 times
No, 15 alts to do 5 awakenings.
well it's 15 runs so you can use just one useless alt , quest get the card delete and repeat
I got it with only 3 solas from random drops. I just farmed abyss dungeons on different alts, it's way better then wasting 4 hours for solas.

@@VwhyX not sure about it, you can also farm pirate coins and buy packs from peyto and fermata on multiple characters... I did this a couple of times, but I saved to unlock the best crewmates for Astray lvl 10. You can also farm south vern story on multiple characters. I don't know, it doesn't feel like a good deal to waste so many hours for a single card.
@@MihaiDurus Yeah you`re right , But some people have the worst luck of the world ,, Like failing a 90% honing for example ,, I never got a Solas from Peyto , Fermata , South Vern ( 3 characters )

@@seif.boughanmi8956 it doesn't take more then 30 mins per character to do the 6 runs and you do it once per week per character, so about 3 hours in total. And while you are right, you don't have a guaranteed drop, you can still drop legendary cards for the other set. There are many people doing this so it's not like you need to change your team everytime. I usually do this with guild, one is the carry and the others 3 just watch some TH-cam in the meantime...So you actually end up spending less then 2 hours per week doing this.

Not even 30% critrate would make me want to do this. This is completely mental. Bro, not even straight up double damage would make want to do this. I don't even know if I would do this, if the survival of the human race would depend on this. No fucking way.
You don't need to, I got 7% crit rate with Awakening 2 Solas, all from packs and running abyssals, I definitely got pretty lucky but you'll get there eventually

Yeah about 4-5 per card. Since you have to get to the end of Borea's Domain to get it. So even doing no side quests you're talking 32-34 ish.
@@Jamestismyname I have 2 awaken Solas and max seria I have awaken 1 armen considering don't need chaos reduction till after valtan I can sit on field boss 2 set with 18 piece awaken for 2% crit until I fill lost wind 12 piece
Are you saying 5 hours total for 15 cards or 5 hours per run. fastest run I did earlier on was like 2:30 to 3 hours to get to the post raid solas card.
It is 5 hrs per run, so it would take 75 hrs to get all 15 cards that you need to awaken him 5 times.

Berserker. I skip all scenes and run dungeons Solo on normal, other than that it's Spam the G key.
there s no way you need 6 hours for level 34 , it s doable in 2.5-3 hours..it s still brain damaging tho, i hit 50 on release in 5 something hours with all the unskipable parts
@@19NoX93 I was not saying it took that long I was asking what the total time it took for him for 15 cards. like I said standard Solas Run take me anywere from 2.5 to 3 hours per run.
So you telling me that each run will take aprox 6 hours and I'd need 15 in total? Thats like 90 hours! I only have 180 hours into the game, 1/2 just for 7% crits lmao. No thank you.

This card set at 30 awakening is the best in slot card set for supports, so if u wanna be optimal gl haha

You dont need to do the scenario anymore right? You just get the Solas card right before hand from an npc

Should only take 3 hrs to do this. Use scrapper or gunslinger.
The fastest run recorded is around 3 and a half hours. You nor anyone else is gonna actually be hitting that. It sure as hell isnt 3hrs.

Card system is the end of the end game, not worth farming anything for 1% damage or so, if you take the time and get more alts on high ilvls is way more fun than a flat 1% damage increase.
Heck even gems can provide up to 40% damage. So cards are not worth as much.

Do not listen to anyone when it comes to Solas , those who recommend you to not farm it are just the ones that doesn’t want to do solas run so that they don’t get behind of those who do farm it. Make your own choice based on your research
Its took me 2,5 hour as Scrapper and 2,1h as Soulfist u just need Class with alot od dashes and card deck for -10% cd for your movemnt skilla, ignore all yellow quests and go for your story quests (Orange) GL guys i got already 7% crit rate do have fun

Don't do this.. absolute waste of time. You will complete the set as you play the game. Also, few people suggested to open the selected legendary packs which were given for free - don't that as well. You will need all the help in the world when it comes to the Light of Salvation set which is the best one so far.
when did we get select legend card?

@@zjeromez5945 If you want to do 10-12 alts to level 34-35 - go for it. The game is in veeeeery early stage to grind out the full set. You will get it eventually while playing the game. There are tons of islands which give card packs, Mari's shop also has card pacs, etc. No one is stopping you to do it - I just mentioned that it is extremely grindy and repetative. I bet that whoever tries it will burn out and quit the game eventually.. I'd only recommend it if you need like 1-2 copies of Solas for the 12th awakening. Again, this is personal opinion.

Guys, dont waste your precious life and time with this bullshit runs.
Set up your discord to match your server and Seria merchant sells, bifrost your alt in Luterra and just wait for notifications that a merchant has spawned and buy it. In 2 weeks you will have Seria 5. If you didnt fuck up your selection packs and got slightly lucky with lego packs then LWC12 is a walk in the park to get. If not, do abyss runs for 20 mins every week, even that is more bearable than doing Solas runs.
