dude, even with a 3080 and 10900k, those nvidia settings and steam starting commands made a huge difference in smoothness. Thumbs up bro looks way better now!
From the testing that I have done, Full Screen will give you peak higher fps but you will lose 20fps if you tab out of the game until you reset. Playing on borderless window gives more of a consistent frame rate(use this if you alt tab a lot)
It works. I'm really getting a bit more fps plus game feels.. "more stable". However instead, I keep getting disconnected although my internet is perfectly fine. "notexturestreaming" is the problem. After removing it, it works perfectly fine but I don't get enough improvements.
I had a problem that none of this videos were able to help me. For the people still suffering stutters after this video, these are the things that i do when Lost Ark starts to work like shit ( stutters at the start of dungeons and everytime a new animations comes on screen + pc stutters cause of lost ark) Here are the not convencional things you can try. - If you play from steam, disable live broadcast, from the broadcast tab in parameters. - If you got Lost Ark in ur SSD that has the OS working on it, make sure it has atleast 50 GB free. - Don't use any of the Nvidia or AMD 3rd party programs, they just eat ram and fps, specially GeForce Experience. - Delete all the cache from NVIDIA folder in %appdata& >local (DX CACHE AND GLCAHE) this will make sure to delete all shaders in case one is broken and causing stutters. - Make sure that in Nvidia Control Panel ( right clikc on desktop) the cache storage available is unlimited. - Make sure to delete all the %temp% and temp files, (Start + R, type "%temp%" after deleting everything inside that one, same process and type "temp", repeat.) Hope this helps in case the video doesn't, after trying this, restart your computer, mine starts working butterysmooth from stutters 50 fps, to 120 - 200 (i7 + 1660).
Thank you so much for this video!! I'm playing on two 144Hz monitors and my FPS went to steady 144 instead of those constant micro stutters! I did everything except the -notexturestreaming and the game runs smooth as butter now. Always wondered why Lost Ark runs the worst from all other games even though my PC setup is way above min. requirements. For other players to reference, here's my setup: Win10 Nvidia RTX 2070 Super AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core 3,60GHz 16GB RAM I chose DirectX 11 and Borderless Mode ingame. Just don’t use „prefer maximum performance“ as it does nothing for performance but just lets ur GPU be under load even if the game is closed and ur doing nothing All it does is keeping the GPU at high clocks and power draw also temps are high even if h just started ur pc so please don’t turn this on
I didn’t have any lag issues before until last week or 2 when I tried streaming again on twitch. After that The game just lags like it stutters 2-3 maybe even 5 seconds then goes back to normal and then a few minutes later it lags again. It’s really frustrating and idk what to do. These things didn’t help.. sigh 😞
@@iNoYT idk I haven’t figured it out all I know is I didn’t have any issues before the stream. After that ever since it just lags here and there and it’s really annoying doing legion raids when it happens.. 😞
I think this is server issue I’ve noticed a lot more stutters and a longer texture loading time since the update a couple weeks ago. Don’t think the problem is on your end.
Thx for tips :) Looks good now. Without it i was almost always 16GB memory usage LostArk+Discord+Firefox with3-4 cards open. I had crashes from windows"high_memory_usage". Now i see memory usage drop to 14GB.
Just a heads up vsync is always bad and should never be used it puts more strain on your gpu. Gsync or freesync only since is dosnt put more loud on gpu but takes loud off. I have 2 freesync monitors that are gsync compatible seems to work fine.
How does not letting your fps go higher make it worse? That makes 0 sense, the reason is worse is because more fps=less input lag which vsync doesn't do a goodjob with, and since the game does not have a fps cap like valorant per ex, vsync is not bad
@@999oresx you can cap any game in the GPU control panel without vsync. The only reason someone would be using vsync is if there monitor is over 12 years old.
@@999oresx You clearly have no idea how Vsync works on a technical level, so why speak at all? Vsync can cause performance issues, screen tearing, and input lag. Doesn't matter if it "makes sense" to you or not, its a fact.
In my case it didn't really work. The only things that I kept from this video are the empty chat box and the xbox thing off. The rest of the settings just f""ked my game to the point that I had to wait 10-20 seconds for every npc or structure to appear in my proximity, so I reverted the othr stuff. Maybe is because of my pc 🥲
Stupid thing is after the first server mergers it fixed the problem. Then after the second merger it went poop again. That being said I tried all these and it has helped a bit. Still stutters ( bear in mind I can play Cyberpunk 2077 at 60fps no problem) but far better. Defo something wrong on Amazon's end TYVM mate :]

The only thing you will get from here that FullScreen is better because it doesn't retender other things on the computer anyone knows that, people Use Bondless to Tap out whenever they want, other than that this video is kinda lame, nothing will affect you that much and the guy have 2080 TI it won't show on his PC at all to even make a difference.
