Just recently bought a 2019 Pacifica S Touring Plus (Billet Silver with blacked out S package and Black Noise 20 inch wheels). My wife, kids and I love it! Best looking minivan on the road for sure. Drives and rides like a dream!
Just test drove the Pacifica and found it to be a pleasure to drive. It is beautiful and practical. I have a 1999 Town and Country (over230,000 miles) that I love and hate to part with but this new model makes it easy. Glad I waited.
Bought the Oacifica today. Traded in our Jeep Grand Cherokee...time for the family minivan. Let me first say I loved everything about the GC:comfortable, powerful, handled great, looked awesome, etc. 5 stars for the GC. That said I like the Pacifica even more! It's only been a day I already know this was a great choice. And thanks for such a good review: you guys hit all the important stuff in a succinct and fun way. Very thorough and entertaining at the same time. Great car. Great review.
I work for Chrysler Jeep as a tec and not afraid to criticize. I work on jeeps and Drive a Fj Cruiser, go figure. I was impressed with the Pacifica when I prepped the first one at our Dealer.
+LIllyman JPL Ha ha! Thanks! Exactly the reaction we were hoping for! It was actually fun to drive and they did a great job with it! That said, our next video is...wait for it...McLaren 675LT.
Towing capacity is 3600 when equipped with towing package. Apparently, the reg Pacifica tows just 1500. I have read that it is due to the touring suspension they equip on the reg. Pacificas where the tow package removes that with load leveling?? Anyhow, that's why I am here... to get to the truth. I need to tow something and replace my CX-9 due to rugrats multiplying.
Sitting? not sure what you mean but it can carry 6-7 adults. Plus you can get the limited v8, rt or citadel and has almost 400 lb ft and tow 7400 lbs while getting 22 on the highway. That's damn good. If you don't need that much power, get the v6. It can get up to 27 highway. I am considering trading my pathfinder for one. I have a rugrat and another one coming.
no I hear you, and do want one, but i have 4 kids... one in booster, two in FF and one in RF. That causes a challenge with any SUV. After our conversation, i went to check out crash scores.. and you might want to rethink buying a Durango after seeing the overlap crash by the IIHS. Was not pretty.
I did look at that too. But, you are going to find that a lot of SUV/Crossover in this category are going to score "marginal" in the small overlap but in the real world, that's likely not going to happen considering you are more than likely not going to hit a static wall like that. And being a 5500 lbs vehicle, physics is working with you especially against a ubiquitous midsize sedan of some sort driven by some angry at life, dad. You can always consider the new and hip chrysler pacifica. Probably the only van i would consider. But, only two kids. I'll never buy a van! XD
minivan sales been drop a lot because what we having, like honda toyota etc. they don't have anything special other than sliding door that make ppl want to buy a minivan. until pacific, so much new stuff into this minivan, it changed the way I look at minivan now, I really want one, been checking with my dealer all the time, they will call me as soon as the have it in.
+Brian Makse I will test drive first but I'm not going buy it yet because I want a limited and dealer told me first shipment it won't have hand free sliding door function available, I was so sad when they told me.
+Brian Makse called Chrysler said maybe will be on the car end of the year or early next year, also he said he doesn't have much info about it. but my dealer email me last week said will be have it by end of next month. i told both of them, I never ever want to Chrysler until pacifica, been looking at it since day one, checking review on TH-cam everyday, so exciting finally can get one this month, but now one of the function is missing , why I would buy a car with same money but something is missing, why you guys selling a car that is not ready, excitement gone
+maoss40 You will get a credit for the missing foot swipe door release. You could always use the 3 other options for door opening: Regular, push the small door handle button or key fob open. Laziness has really made people jaded nowadays...even a 4 year old can push that little button to open their door for themselves. How many times in your whole life did you have so much in your hands[and not in a shopping cart] that you couldn't push a button on the door or the key fob? It is purely a me-too option that no one ever really needed.
i have a 06 pacifica, horrible, have to change motor mounts once a year, changed transmission at 55000 miles, front suspension, fuel pump was recalled but mine was not in that batch although i had the same problem that was recalled. Have a family member who had the same vehicle he caught on fire while driving on the highway. So for 2017 I’ll pass. I’m sure this car will be fine for the first 10-20,000 miles.
the kid called his dad a "jerk.." disrespect ..on a side note, very poor review, nothing about acceleration, suspension, noise insulation, seat comfort etc.

+Mary Ruffcorn The new one is brilliant! Enjoy!
I like the kid's review. This video helped me to make a decision to buy, thank you!
Great job at making the video fun.
+craig doss Thanks, Craig!

I traded my 2007 FJ Cruiser for a Pacifica.
Fantastic and funny video, and I'm definitely considering this vehicle even though my children are grown lol.
wish i would of seen this vid before i bought my 2017 pacifica, because i would have still bought it. you said 34 hwy mpg - nope.
Great review? Have you driven the 2017 yet? I drove it last week and absolutely loved it.
Ahhhhhhhhhh...Love the colour!
LMAO! a break from the fast car and into a real family hauler (real life), i applaud you for doing it.
+LIllyman JPL This thing was surprisingly adept in the canyons. Pretty nicely finished vehicle overall. The storage/cargo ability is off the charts.

+Brian Makse Fingers crossed on that one haha.
+Nick Busato Suck it up, buttercup. It's done on my end!
great job on the video and the car is awesome
+Brian Djordjevic thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice job to test a FCA Pacifica. I would like to see direct competitor such as KIA Sedona on your channel too.
+corvet57 Thanks! I'm not sure that a Sedona review would be popular though.
great video! Thank you for an awesome review!!!!
Thanks. Pretty sure that was four years ago.

Dodge Durango hands down. 6200 minimum towing and room for rugrats
agreed but doesn't help my sitting needs :(

+maoss40 They should be landing at dealers any time now. I think you'll like it. Let us know!

I want the electric option now.
how many passengers does it hold because I need 8 passengers
A 9-person passenger vehicle doesn't exist. You need to think about a bus.
The people in this video meets my satisfaction. No one with blonde hair!!!!
+All Hell Breaks Loose I have dirty blond hair!
+Nick Busato I don't give a damn!!!!
+Nick Busato we can't see it so....
cryzler

chrysler should have named this 2015-present the "Superior Pacifica"!!!!
.... it starts at $29000 or so
+tom sam I am not sure on the US spec pricing. I think Brian may have only went over the Canadian values.
the kid called his dad a "jerk.." disrespect ..on a side note, very poor review, nothing about acceleration, suspension, noise insulation, seat comfort etc.
The kid's a jerk, too.
way off on the price there
