Great affordable knife the Companion HD. Right out the box, I put mine in the vice and ran a bastard file across the spine to put a 90 edge on it so it could scrape kindling and throw sparks. Good review Thor!

Väldigt fin video! Did you notice any big differences between the older HD Companion and this new one?

Gearheart Knives & Outdoor , tack så mücket :) yes there is no doubt you are holding a better knife. A more sturdy knife

@@ThoristestingI wouldn't say it is better. Such thick scandis are very poor at slicing. The thinner one is more universal i'd say. But on the other hand i like the bigger handle more.

Good review, As Sweden is one of the best country for the bushcraft ( wild camping is allowed), big space, forest, lakes and no dangerous animals ( except a drunk moose sometimes) it's logic that they are making excellent knives, excellent steel, scandi blade, confortable, not expensive. I have almost all of them except the Garberg and the companion HD, the mora robust is my favourite, i carry it with a neckless. After you review, Thor, i will order a companion HD and pray that my wife won't see the pack in the mailbox, Mora is f......addiction! HEJA SVERIGE!! 😉👍🤗

I'm curious; without considering cost, what is your favorite Mora knife?

I'm positive the handle feels a bit thicker in the hand compared to the normal companion, brilliant knife so cheap, no need to spend a fortune on anything else when the Mora has it all covered!

Hallo, Hmmm I have not thought about it, but you might be right about the handel it dose fell thicker. and about Mora you right. like I say its not that hard to make a good knife if you dont consider price, but it is a art to make a good knife cheap :)

You do not chop with a knife that size.

Hallo desertfox, a topic that comes up :) I know what you mean and nomaly i would not chop with it. but this is at test/stress senarie and I want to know if my knife can take it, if i am in a situation where it is needed :)
