My goodness!!! Demanding is an understatement for sure. Great video Big T, Thank you for taking us along. You're getting closer everyday to your goal, God's speed as you continue. Thanks for the temp updates too.
Thanks for taking us along on such a challenging, dangerous stretch. Even more tough to do that notch alone without your buddies, and in wet weather. Glad you made it to the shelter! What an incredible day.
Good ol 🪿 👀 😂 Man that's a tuff section there! I'm amazed that there's still ice on the ground. We could use some of that down here in the Sip , this heatwave has been something else. Hope the sky dries up and the views open up. Keep on trucking North brother! 👋😎👍👍💪💪🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So so glad you made it through that area safely!! That looks so scary!!! I know I could never do that alone! I would be so afraid! Especially going through the cave openings!! I would be so claustrophobic 😱😱😱
Good to see you're still crushing it, even on the toughest mile on the AT! I'll be back on trail SOBO in Monson in a week or so, so there's a small chance I'll run into you again before you get to the 100 MW. These vids are giving me some great intel about what's to come. Have fun, stay safe, and hike on! - Lost-n-Found '23
I’m glad to see you and OG hiking together. I’ve been following you both since the beginning. You are all doing great! Happy hiking! You are at the finish line!
Tough going today. You mentioned that dad and 2 small kids (8&10) heading SoBo. I worry about the small ones going through those bogs especially considering the poor condition of the planks. Hike safe.
Sheweee!! What a day you had. Glad to see you still found a lil bit of humor in such a demanding hike!! Great content!! Stay safe and well, God Bless 👍🇺🇸🙏
Nahamsha said it took her 1.5 hrs to travel that 1 mile through the notch! You did it! 🎉 I hope the weather turns soon and the trail creek dries out. Keep on keepin on! 🥾
You made it though. All the hikers I've followed online. Said it was one of the worst areas on the trail. Glad you made it ok. Prayers for fellow hikers / friends / family and you. Take it slow if needed - you'll make it though to the end. (happy 4th of July btw)
Ya done good, Tom - Mahoosuc Notch and Mahoosuc Arm are not trivial - they're serious. There's an anecdotal story about Goose Eye Mountain. It's said that the geese that take off from the surrounding valleys are able to gain just enough altitude to get over that mountain, some by as few as only three - four feet. The name morphed from 'Goose High' to 'Goose Eye,' over the years. Don't know if it's true or not, but it makes for a good story. Be well, stay safe.
I think the worse thing about the Notch is the risk of falling. These no good place to fall (no good landing spots). Hikers need to take it slow and get through it without getting hurt, forget about how long it takes.

Got to keep going!
Tough weather and trail, but you're all tuffer.😊

Big T you’re a machine, you’re feeling the end of the AT is near, what a brutal mile!!!!
It’s getting closer!
Wow! Those caves 🫣
I did the watermelon crawl through one🤪. (Not really)
Amazing. And bonus to see you hiking with OG. It's a YT crossover. Congratulations on conquering the Mahoosuc notch.

Great job on such a cold, rainy day! You are one brave, tough guy!
What a day. You did great! Appreciate the video
that would be a challenge on a good weather day, but you conquered it in terrible conditions! congrats! continued prayers!

Hike safe.
It’s his 2nd time too. He did it with the older siblings a few years ago. I was truly amazed!

Well done , such a demanding stretch
15:46 someone has left some blue items on the rock, just right of centre.
Hmmm

Great story!
Great job. Are you still liking your Atmos 65? After trying several packs I believe I will give the Atmos a try even with the weight penalty.
Yes. I wish it were lighter. I like the fit and the amount of space. I’m reducing weight for the last 175 miles.

I agree 100%
Big T, How long did it take to get through the 1 mile?
It was about an hour, maybe hour and 15. It seemed like forever.
