Ooh, you're brave, Sinead couldn't do it myself. I got vertigo going up an esculator in Heathrow Airport, ha ha! Beautiful view though thanks for sharing. Hello, Aussie Kids, I hope you have an excellent time in the UK with Sinead😊
Wow wow Thank you for the vlog- we got tickets the first day they were available and had no idea what we were going to see. Hello to your australian family members.
Hi Sinead, awesome live video tour. I enjoyed it. You have a wonderful family. All your history videos are always enjoyable. How are you doing? I'm doing well. Have a great day. See you next video 😊
i liked the way that using ur camera a magnifying glass..the way the kids catch the parents out on knowledge...i'm so glad i went before half of the view was taken over...not the pointers that the shard has (which adds to the fun...when "what is that?" )...i loved it there...for free...and using ur phone as a magnifying glass is a top tip - for parents, although it's amazing how many people recognise wembley arch...go before it's free no longer!
Been up to the Shard's observation platform Sinead, it's on the 72nd floor, there's a cocktail bar, which, you might know as I'm a Geordie, I've also been to which is on floor 50 something, that may be what you're thinking of perhaps . Must tell you though, bit of a strange experience, the toilets all have glass walls ..ooh er 😂
absolutely the master!...ear-popping; jaw-dropping;....amazingly free...everyone points out wembley...it's a bit hazy to the left..looking down at people looking up..none of the walking around in circles omg
Looking forward to going. The Shard is a taller building but is built on lower ground. Whilst the City of London is on a hill so a shorter building ends up being higher in the air than the Shard. Super cool.
It's higher because the observation platform is on a higher floor then that from The Shard and the top 200'ft or so of The Shard isn't even habitable because it's all glass rigging. If and when they finally build 1 Undershaft it'll be the same height as The Shard but have a higher viewing point then either that or 22BG.
The shard is another great place to visit and a free complimentary drink if you book from the shards website. Never asked if I wanted a soft drink just opened a bottle of fizz. And cracking views at night. Thanks again
The Shard observation decks actually cover the 68th to 72nd floors. The reason this one is higher is due to the ground level being higher than the Shard as far as I know.
Glad that you enjoyed the video! If you haven't done so already, you can hopefully check out our back catalogue of virtual London tours th-cam.com/users/FreeToursbyFootLondonvideos. There is more where this came from.

Sinead, watching this at work "night shift" and at break. I think that the Shard is one of the most outstanding new buildings in the UK. It's dramatic but elegant in its simplicity.
