Missed opportunity to have the end scene be Max meeting Sophie Turner's character in rehab and they team up, maybe Carissa join in aswell. Setting up a second movie.

I really like that the writer’s intent with the characters translated well into the movie. So many people react badly when we have “unlikeable” main characters, saying they’re problematic or whatever. We can have bad people as the protagonists, even root for them, but still understand that their behavior is bad and shouldn’t be mimicked

Sophie was clearly having so much fun going so over the top. I loved her death glare while painting.

I watched this the other night and I loved Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke’s chemistry. And fun fact, actress Maia Reficco also stars in Pretty Little Liars Original Sin.

I really loved this movie. I haven't seen a lot of teen comedies, but this definitely gave me Mean Girls vibes. Stacked cast, great casting, great plot. I know some people find it weird how they they are just letting go of all the bad stuff they did to one another, but i like that they just let it go. They let it go, no grudges. You don't see that really in media or even real life. I don't really know how else to put it, but it was cool that they did that. Letting go of the past.

I seriously hope this movie isn’t overlooked. This might actually be one of my favorite comedies I’ve seen in the last 2-3 years. Great writing, dialogue and characters with a great balance of humor totally suited towards my style and really dramatic moments. Camila and Maya have amazing chemistry! I LOVE THEM!! I wish that Jennifer Kaytin Robinson brought this level of excellence to her Thor: Love and Thunder script. Either way, this is one of the most pleasent surprises I’ve had watching a movie in a while! AHHH!! Please give us a sequel, Netflix!!😍😍

I love the way Nora being queer is both no big deal and an important part of her character and role in the plot.

One of the things thst they did that was kind of cool was the birthday scene, you could just tell that Eleanor was going to call off her personal revenge scheme if Drea had spent Eleanor's birthday with her, but Drea was so focused on her revenge ahe forgot about her friend and so Eleanor put her plan back on.
Dosing loads of bystanders when you have no idea of their medical details is very dangerous. If one of those kids had an allergy to mushrooms that could have been a manslaughter charge!

After I finished watching this I was reminded that the writer of this was also the creator of the (criminally cancelled) show Sweet/Vicious and once I was reminded my thoughts immediately went "of fucking course". Not only is it built from a lot of the same DNA, but that friend of Erica's that was just as upset as her about her being framed for having Cocaine was one of the leads in Sweet/Vicious.
I actually think Sweet/Vicious would be a perfect show for you to check out. Though it is slightly harder to find these days, despite only like six years old.
The only people ik from the movie was Maya (stranger things), Cami (Riverdale), Austin (Dash & Lily, euphoria and chemical hearts), Rish (ms.marvel), Paris (Alexa & Katie, mighty med, lab rats: elite force, invisible sister), Alisha (13RW), Maia (pll original sin), and Ava (love Victor)
This movie was a ton of fun. I did see the twist coming, not the details but I knew Nora was manipulating Drea and had ulterior motives (and correctly guessed that she sabotaged the car). The cast was great and I recognized almost every actor in this.
The fact that you had almost all the same thoughts as me as I watched it, but you roasted everyone as you watched it is amazing. I love your commentary! So funny yet true
