      @@wazzeradk9398 Thank you! This knife was finished about 3 weeks ago. It takes me a while to edit these shots, just taking an off hour here or there every few days.
      I appreciate the advice and will do my best to show more of the finished product in the future, just understand that it will be a few weeks before that makes it into my new videos!

      Great job! Beautiful results. I’ve got a knife that the back Spring currently sits too low. When the blade is open. That trick with a piece of bandsaw blade is genius.👍😊

      @@stephenjeffrey75 Thank you! I used a hacksaw blade for a while, but this thin band saw blade is a better size. A $5 pack of new coping saw blades should work too.
      I believe that a welder would be better, but I don't own one.

    I believe that your imagination, combined with your skills, make you an outstanding knife repair/restorer/enthusiast. I dabble in knife restoring. But, not to your level. I just used your razor blade method on a Barlow that now has 1 blade...thanks for sharing your talents with us...🔥👍😎🙏🙏

    Once again an excellent job of actually repairing a knife to a high standard rather than some of the knife “experts” that just buff up a knife on a fibre wheel!

      @@southernknifehobbyist nothing really to see blade replacements, making new springs, and Total refurbs, now I'm making my own fixed blades it's really a great hobby to me I luv working on my knives and refurbing older folders I really only like traditional knives and fixed blades, really impressed with your channel, been watching quite a few of your videos I liked the jig for the spring pin on the drill press to round them over I'm 63 and never stop learning new techniques appreciate you brother 🇺🇲😎🙏

    Great job on fixing this knife. This is a beautiful knife and I would be more then happy to carry it. I truly love watching your videos and the way you show your steps on doing it.     This is one of my more ambitious "experiments". I finished this knife a couple of weeks ago, and was hoping to return it to the owner before releasing the video, but still have a handful of other knives of his to finish.

    Tracing the shield onto a piece of blue painters tape might make it easier to see/ inlet.. just a thought ;)

    That's a good idea for and old blade, the inlay and having hard time seeing the pencil out line would it not have been easier if you had just put a piece of masking tape down and traced it on the handle or make it a stencil off and the place it on the handle?
