Today's vlog is going to be very adventurous because we are going to the origin of Maa Ganga i.e. Gaumukh. In this vlog you are going to get complete A to Z information of Gangotri to Gomukh trek and how much time it will take you to reach there. How many kms is this trek? What problems will you have to face in this? Best time to visit., and other related information. You must have 3-4 days to complete this Beautiful trek. On the first day you will reach Gangotri, On the second day you will go from Gangotri to Bhojwasa or Chirbasa. Next day you will trek from Bhojwasa to Gomukh, then same day you will return, Gomukh to Gangotri Dham. To complete this trek, you must have permission. You cannot trek to Gaumukh without Gangotri National Park permission. You will get this permission both online and offline. For permission you must have your Aadhar card. If you want to do Tapovan Yatra along with Gomukh from where Mount Shivling is visible, then it will be necessary for you to have a professional Gangotri guide for that.
Gaumukh - Tapovan is the second-largest glacier of
India with 30 kms in length and 4 kms in width
first one being Siachen. The Himalayan peaks
visible during this trek are Shivling
Sudarshan, Meru, Bhagirathi sisters
Kharchkund and more.
