In my world, I also married to a Caucasian man but he is opposite. He’s lazy, alcoholic and abusive.
When we ware dating, I told him that I was divorced and had a daughter with me. He’s fine with everything and asked my parents for permission to married me but they reply “no.
I listened to my parents and plan to run away from him. So, he forced me to married him as hmong culture. But he didn’t pay my parents as hmong law. He took me free as an orphan and tortured me however he want.
He threatened me, “if u ever run away from me, I’ll hire my friends to kill u and your family.”
He start to physically abused me since that on. 15 days after I gave birth to my daughter, he hurt me by squeezed my body too tight so I can not breath. I found that my nipple bleed. I can’t feed my baby for 2 weeks. He kicked me out of the house by pushed me, I flew 15 feet away. I never fly in my life but that time. After all that he abused me, I never called the cops on him cause i kept forgave him. But he never stop. Till 6 yrs later, I decided to call the cops and he went to jail twice for physically abused me. He called me all the ugly names. Called me “you’re an Asian whore” All Asian’s are whore!!”
He told our marriage counselor that He was hurt because I married once.”
I try to question myself, what did I do wrong to make him hate me this much. I couldn’t find anything wrong that I did to deserved this kind of hatred.
From there, I understood that all the abusive that he hates and hurt me was came from jealousy of my past. But why? I told him that I was divorced and had kids.
Another thing, my parents did not approve me to married him. Plus, I didn’t want to married him either. I love him as a boyfriend only. Not plan to settle with him due to I saw his selfishness attitude already.
We married for 15 yrs. now. I never experience love by him. Helpful hands. Respect. Honor. Trust.
2017 he emotional cheated with my own younger sister. He compared me to her all the times. He send her texts messages call her “sweet name..” he deleted texts messages that send to her. He’s fb messages her everyday. Sometimes, even twice a day. I confronted him and he admitted it. I was so disappointed and mad at him for hurting our family.
I didn’t have sex or talk to him for 6 months. He and his father make a planed for his son to divorced me so he can come to stay with his son.
He filed divorce me and the case still going on. Due to corona, can’t move fast cause some court is just reopen. I found nothing to missed him. Nothing good to remember. Now he is fighting for the house. I thought, I just give him the house and move on. Worse that he pay child & spousal support.
I love my kids. I don’t want them to be orphans anymore but I can’t change peoples hearts. I’m not gotta married again. I gotta love and support my kids for the rest of my life.
By listening to how your husband loves u, make me almost can’t believe it.
But I know, people are different.
