What went through my mind when I saw that player in a trashcan, was the common headcanon that Stelle from Honkai Star Rail, loves trash cans, like a raccoon. Due to how many unique lines of text you can get from inspecting different trashcans on the first planet the player visits.

Since there’s already a jumping animation for the pipe I really think they should’ve let us jump into stuff like spas or ponds that you can place like with the Puzzle Glitch, it just makes sense

They patched the ability to put items up there! But you can still access it with the glitch.

Yup, they function as fast travel. If you have two of them placed on your island, when you enter one of them, you'll reappear out of the other one. Have more than 2 of them placed on your island though, what pipe you come out of is random, according to someone who I cannot remember their name

As of 2023, having the Swimming/Cooking update but not the DLC installed, the puzzle glitch isn't working anymore.
Or at least it isn't for me. Anyone else confirm?
@Leeloo_the_fox once you have prepared your island, it's pretty easy to do. I have an area on my island where you just have to climb up the cliff, climb down into the puzzle, run to the edge of the water, open a menu and when the menu is opened, you're in!

AAAH I think the 4th level glitch is patched cause I have been trying for ever to get it to work but it glitches and doesn’t build the cliff. FORGET EVERYTHING I SAID I JUST GOT IT TO WORK EEEEEE sadly I can’t decorate it cause it won’t let me open my inventory
