- Winter Canadian Rockies Canyon Hike. One of first hikes available as you near the national parks.Initial part of hike is not good (power lines, factory), but once you enter the creek bed, it is a nice hike. In a rocky creek bed the entire way. Through a slot canyon (never less than 10 feet wide). The path was clearly marked and fun to follow. When you first step on the ice you have a fear of falling through but you quickly get over it and then enjoy the view and experience. If brave enough make the climb up the frozen falls. After go explore the ungroomed trail and see the beauty beyond the falls.The frozen waterfalls were amazing, waterfalls coming straight out of the rocks.During our wandering around the canyon we met two delightful ladies. One of them was celebrating a birthday. They agreed to immortalize them in our video. We greeted them warmly and thanked them for the cookies from the birthday party.

Amazing Canadian Rockies canyon. Frozen waterfall is so beautiful ! I've never seen such a beautiful scenery. And I'm surprised that there are people who climb frozen waterfalls !
