You are right about having been somewhere in a car and the difference it makes being on a motorcycle. When you ride, your perceptions are heightened, because you are cageless, and the adrenalin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, trigger to some extent Tachypsychia, which in it's mild forms would just make things more vivid and detailed, or you could get the far-end of mild and get full dilation of time
The two of you are like the perfect couple! I so enjoy you sharing your travels to such beautiful places, weird eats and the playful banter. If I ever get myself across the pond, I'd love to tour around with the both of you!! Love ya's!!
Ahh it was stunning. Wish the sun had come out!. Llanberis Pass was loads of fun but we missed loads which annoyed us, The electric mountain, zip wire etc.

I have absolutely enjoyed seeing all the amazing landscapes, and has made me start looking at cost to go overseas with my bike and explore same routes. Love y'all's channel. I'm actually staying at the same hotel as you in Bala in a couple of weeks time, also touring North Wales on my brilliant little Honda Forza 300! Thanks folks! I'm 66 next week and my birthday marks 50 years and over 30 bikes in that time. Never owned a car! Keep them coming and ride safe always. Have fun!
Make sure you try the Beer place! Hotel was ok, ask for a room on the lower floors because at the top is very warm. And there is a coffee shop down the road that serves a better breakfast apparently
@@pommiegranite464Sorry, made it sound negative. Hotel was great, convenient location and secure parking. The added warmth might be useful on colder nights. Breakfast was ok but locals told us the coffee shop was better thats all..
If you're still wondering 10:25 Snowdonia and it's car park are directly to your right in the direction you are travelling, to the left looking at the screen .👍
Picking up local food and a loaf of bread and just ripping chunks off is actually one of my favourite things about riding out for the day - been doing that for years and there is something really satisfying about it.
I really am enjoying these videos. Everything you have done on your Welsh tour so far appeals to me and I may well copy it next year. And finding hotels with safe parking for bikes is sometimes a challenge for me, but you seem to be managing it pretty well!
That hedge looks very soft & green 👍. Great riding through the trees / bridge & villages etc. The ugly house is really cool 😎. A medievil poo shoot 🤣. Cool mountain lookout at Llyn Ogwen by the water. Yeah serious mountain climbing to go up there. The white horse royal hotel looked nice. Ooh Hoffi Coffi ☕. Funny name bootlegger lager 🤣. Another great riding video! Thanks for posting, as I am currently unable to ride after tearing two ligaments in my right knee. So, I am having to get my riding done vicariously by watching some of my favorite moto vloggers from around the world. At least for the near future. Keep up the great work!
@@BunnyKingHogs I laid my Road King down into a pothole and twisted my knee about 2 months ago, then 3 weeks ago stepped off the curb and somehow twisted it severely. Thanks for the good wishes, I will be up riding as soon as possible. Ride safe, and enjoy!
Might I suggest a heated jacket liner for the chilly rides , check out warm and safe heated gear on line. my wife and I have been using this product for years its thin and light weight and is incredible. I have rode all over north America using this.

The stegosaurus is called Tryfan 😁 brilliant ( climbed that just the other week ) 😁if you rode through Llanberis on the pen-y-pass you’d be going past Snowdon and the Mighty Crib goch ( climbed that with my boy this summer , we’ve made a video of it Caroline/Brian if you fancy watching it on my channel ) 👌 Beautiful country 🏴

Hey Dex, we tend to move the cameras around quite a bit. the 360 is new though for the Wales tour, still getting to grips with it. for this day between the 3 cameras, phone and drone this 17 mins out 11 hours of recording
If you like Welsh mountains there is a large hill that looks like a boob near Nefyn. It's so hard for me living on the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd, all that scenery, coast & nice roads. Safe riding to you both & keep uploading videos.

my old hiking and riding areas. missed them so much this last year or so. ugly houses "old law said if you could build a complete house in a 24 hour period then you could keep it" or at least thats what i was told growing up. I cant begin to tell you how many car, bike, motorcycle and walking adventures ive had in the areas you rode through.

I've spent years bounding over them mountains, once in my youth raced the train to the top and won...just. The ugly house is called that because the old law allowed the building of a house in one day but the boundary was decided by throwing an axe, built by five brothers if I recall correctly
@@BunnyKingHogs I ran, up the minors path to the top, set off at the same time as the train. They do this challenge quite often. I was young and didn't own a bike back then

Another highly entertaining vid! North Wales is my back yard... sorta. Saw you guys on the road today around 4.30pm, junction of A6187 and A6013 at Bamford, by the Texaco petrol station. I waved (I know how much Carolyne likes to wave at fellow bikers!) but lots of traffic so prob didn't see me. Love riding in the Peaks, but today was sooooo busy! 😊👍🏻

No one is really sure why it's called the Ugly house but some people believe that it is because the river next to it is the Llugwy which is pronounced very similar to Ugly..

Another great video! I've watched it a couple of times and can't really spot a mistake, unless it was in the history bit? but that's too tricky to check! So, at 12:28 you show a bottle of beer called 'Orme' saying you just been there today. But, if your videos are chronologically accurate, you went there on a previous day. Only thing I can think of! Thanks again for an entertaining video. I detect a recurring theme here. You feature food quite often in your videos, its becoming almost the 'sub-plot', "Yes, but what did they eat?" I’m impressed by all the miles of stone walls along the roads, and stone work in general(buildings). Seems there is no shortage of stone in Wales. Is that type of construction found all over the U.K.? BTW, if that water isn’t 72 degrees F, I ain’t going in. I do love Seaweed, so I would be stocking up on that stuff. I actually learnt how to build the walls! It is a dying art unfortunately and people are getting lazy by using cement. Seaweed was ok, bit bland but the samphire was very tasty. Thanks for watching

Another highly entertaining vid! North Wales is my back yard... sorta. Saw you guys on the road today around 4.30pm, junction of A6187 and A6013 at Bamford, by the Texaco petrol station. I waved (I know how much Carolyne likes to wave at fellow bikers!) but lots of traffic so prob didn't see me. Love riding in the Peaks, but today was sooooo busy! 😊👍🏻

No one is really sure why it's called the Ugly house but some people believe that it is because the river next to it is the Llugwy which is pronounced very similar to Ugly..

Another great video! I've watched it a couple of times and can't really spot a mistake, unless it was in the history bit? but that's too tricky to check! So, at 12:28 you show a bottle of beer called 'Orme' saying you just been there today. But, if your videos are chronologically accurate, you went there on a previous day. Only thing I can think of!

I’m impressed by all the miles of stone walls along the roads, and stone work in general(buildings). Seems there is no shortage of stone in Wales. Is that type of construction found all over the U.K.? BTW, if that water isn’t 72 degrees F, I ain’t going in. I do love Seaweed, so I would be stocking up on that stuff. I actually learnt how to build the walls! It is a dying art unfortunately and people are getting lazy by using cement. Seaweed was ok, bit bland but the samphire was very tasty. Thanks for watching
