this was one of the worst things for me when I started wakeboarding. Our lake is constantly packed and the water looks like the ocean. I remember getting a concussion one time when I ramped a big wave from a large boat and the nose caught another big wave when I was coming down. Hurt like hell. Cant wait to move to florida so I can hit up the cable parks!

I've never gone wakeboarding before. I was pretty good on the wii lol. I grew up skateboarding and i know the difficult of that and gravity, is it similar to snowboarding or skateboarding? Or is it less difficult? Or more difficult?

Hanging 10 always is amazing. I can't understand why this is possible without faceplanting . Is it because of the rocker of the board or do you have secret powers?

The board adheres to the water, you could even stand on its nose. Physics....The same is true for wave surfers, they walk to the very end of the nose while surfing.
How do you get such a consistent view on the GoPro? If I point it at the boat it never gets my board in the shot 😢😂

Two pieces of advice from a beginner wakeboarder. Don’t be scared to get out of the wake, that’s where it gets fun. Also the longer you wait to get out of the wake the scarier it is. The other advice is if you wait a while before wakeboarding don’t go too hard or you will hurt yourself and that won’t be fun.

What GoPro mount do you use
I watched this video earlier today for tips and tricks. Then I decided that it is time for my first jump. I have some good 3 weeks practice just for basics and the jump it self was all good. Landed side ways but I managed to stay on top and slide for a while but then..........
My ribs all crunhed in and face busted. Handle got between my face and the surface so you can call it a epic fail.

Maybe I missed it but, what’s your speed, length of rope, water in the boat etc.?
75ft rope, 22.8mph and stock ballast which I believe is 5,000lbs maybe a tiny bit more. The boat is also 25ft. My new boat is 23ft and I’m running the same setup
To run this type of weight, 450+ horsepower is very helpful. If you are lacking in horsepower, you could call up acme propellers and get a propeller with more torque
