Dreamcatcher doesn't make covers, they make the music their own
DreamCatcher's 'covers' are more like having the songs 're-imagined'. It's like a World-Class Engineer un-doing technology and re-inventing it, improving it from the start. That strategy is called reverse-engineering and it really works. :)

The pronouns thing reminded me of something, not really related but anyway. So there was this interview where Yoohyeon was asked what her ideal type was (I think she said somebody tall? not really sure about that though). The interviewer then said "Did you (person watching) all hear? Yoohyeon likes tall men!" and she specifically corrected her that she said people and not men.

Dreamcatcher is the only group that has made me like covers more than the originals, they know how to make it as if it were their own songs, they add their unique rock-pop sound and their unique, great voices... i just love all the covers they have done (like i said more than the originals). 😊
Siyeon has also a clip for the cover of Tresure by Bruno Mars, and I don't know if you've seen it but she made a rock version of Overdose by EXO as well and It's LIT!

@@johanmoon it's a switch setting you can only see on desktop. Make sure you have Local Files enabled and have a file for all your audio ready to switch on as well. And a tip for downloading: download a lyric video because most of those have been edited to cut out intros, outros, and other noise you may not want

Just an fyi, that's Seo Taji and Boys. The OG K-pop group. Revolutionized the Korean music industry, which was mostly trot music and nothing the younger generation could relate to. He was very political and anti-tradition with his lyrics. Really a true pioneer.

They kill whatever they want to cover. And a lot of the time I prefer the DC to the original. What I need is a DC album that is just covers- English and/or Korean. I always find myself wanting the audio for the covers, but since I can’t I just listen to their cover videos whenever i want to listen to their version of a particular song. I love that they keep the original pronouns.
When it comes to Lucky Strike, I love SuA’s jacket and Siyeon’s outfit is definitely my style. Siyeon will make anyone feel flustered. There is a live performance of Lucky Strike too.

I also prefer to listen to women's voices when it comes to music than men. Don't get me wrong!
There are other areas where I prefer men's voices over to women. Example, I only listen to male ASMR videos 'cause I like how low their voices sound (only exception is Jisun from fromis_9).
