    By far the best one available. Great work. A huge debt of gratitude is owed to your tutorials. It’s what I used to get going on Tesla Toybox ❤

    Vince this the most comprehensive tutorial, and it’s definitely worth saving it as a reference for anything you do in future to do. The light show this is amazing, but you’ve done more to help Tesla owners work through the light shows than anyone else. Thank you for everything you do help improve our life. Thanks for this superb tutorial. Such valuable information. Two questions for you please. 1) Is it possible to take someone else's posted fseq file and modify it for my own use? I'm assuming I need the xsq file for this, but wanted to be sure there isn't a work-around. 2) Do you know how to make the "TESLA" name project from headlights? I have the necesary hardware, but don't know the command. Thanks again!

      To be honest, I never looked into editing .fseq files.
      The Tesla is always projected when activating the outer main beams, you don’t need a special command.

    Cool. Is there a link with this light show?

    UPDATES:
    - The sample rate in Audacity is now found under Edit -> Preferences -> Audio Settings -> Project Sample Rate. Always change it to 44100 Hz as usual.
    - Make sure to download the new Tesla Light Show folder from GitHub, I made some changes to the validator.py file. The rest of your files don't have to be replaced.

    Thank you for the brand new turorial. Question. Can a fade be longer than 2000ms (2 seconds)? The song I'm editing has a section where the sound effects stings out at almost 4 seconds.

    • @HVpad
      @HVpad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not possible, but you could sneak in some fade on effects in there to make it seem longer.

    Is it possible to combine two fseq files to one? I’m trying to take your 2 fseq files from resistance and make it one song. Your light shows are the best by the way. Keep up the great work! I’ll buy them if you already combined your big shows that needed multiply drives.

    Is it possible to have more than one custom lightshow on the car at a time?

    Hello, I worked on a lightshow for my mother as a gift. And we tried Testing it. Im not sure why but the music sounds like it is in 3/4's speed.
    It definitely feels like it because the music sounds slower and lower, The lightshow itself seems fine because all the lights and door dancing seems to be working. The problem is that since the song is slowed down, the more the lightshow goes on, the more misaligned it becomes. Im not sure what is the source of the problem, because the .wav file looks fine to me in the USB drive.
    And i told myself it cant be the fseq file since it's purpose is to give the lights instructions. So it has to be the music file. Do you have any advice?

    • @HVpad
      @HVpad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, it sounds like your sample rate is 48000 instead of 44100.

    • @pusheenlimit
      @pusheenlimit ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HVpad I see. I went ahead and took the audio file and coverted it to 44100 in Audacity.
      My question is, So does replacing the Original lightshow.wav file with this 44100 going to speed up the Music so that it is aligned? Or do I have to alter anything new with the FSEQ file?
      Edit: I searched around on the internet, and setting it to 44100 fixes it because "the car reads it in 88" or something along the lines.
      So for future reference, I can make lightshows with the original 48000 hz (my sample came originally in 48000), but then give the car at 44100 hz version of the sample?

    • @HVpad
      @HVpad  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think anything prevents you from doing so, but I‘d always start with the 44100 to ensure nothing changes when converting the audio file.

    Hi, can you have multiple shows on 1 usb?

    • @Emoneybags609
      @Emoneybags609 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can but only the one titled lightshow will play, obviously each one will have to be in its own separate folder. I have a text file with the name of the song in each folder to keep track. You will need to connect hard drive to phone or computer to change the folder you want to play to lightshow.
