Why are you cutting the leaves back? What are you expect to happen with the leaves? Will they grow two pointy leaves?
I believe it allows the plant to become more dense and bushy just like when you cut back and prune a pothos because the energy of the plant doesnât grow to those cut leaves but to new growth. But I could be mistaken. ðĪ·ð―ââïļ
My cutting always rot even when I change the water regularly ðĒ
Mine also ðĪĻ what your trick
Maybe thatâs why- i heard that you should keep the water and just add some when it evaporates but donât change the whole water if that makes sense :) It apparently creates its own nutrients that way or somethingði donât know if thatâs actually true but it worked for me and the cuttings have beautiful roots now, hope it helpsâšïļðą
Can any one name this soundtrack artist? Thx.
This plant doesn't like a lot of water. It will grow very well and give you roots if you'll put it in well drained soil. It needs watering onse per 1-2 weeks depending on the season and the weather
What nutrients do you add?
Simply BEAUTIFUL ðĪ work
I love to see your videos. I saw your plants growing well. It makes me happy. ^^
The dark, small LECA looks like raisins in chocolate :) The favorite snack of my mommy :)
ð
I love your video.!!
So well done..music is just perrfectðĪðĪð..
You make the planting seem so easy.!!
Thanks so much.ððð
Hi
Where did you get your pots?
Thanks
Does the original trees grow back their leaves?
That's what I came here to find out! So far, no one I've found yet tells anything about the original tree once you cut things off of it. I wanted to know if it will regrow some shoots.
Awesome!
will the stem you cut the tops off regrow without leaves?
Iâm growing all of my plants in clay pebbles for good indoor. But if youre planning to grow them outdoor you can plant in the soil to.
I would love a breakdown of how much that cost to setup? look like the initiail setup might cost a bit, but over time? and how do you know if your getting enough light?
initially it will cost you for the clay pebbles, but that can be use forever. for the light, I just experimenting it and I donât use any kind of meter to test if plant are getting enough light. I just observe and see how my plants doing, if its growing well or not. I normally use barrina grow light for most of my plants and they are doing well.
what is that tool you used to remove dirt off the roots? Thanks!
So glad to come across you! I transferred my dracaena into leca but before putting in LECA I first put in water with nutrients. Unfortunately the bottom was rotted and never rooted. The stem was too long and I decided to cut it much shorter. Put it back in water with nutrients and hopefully these survive.
Thank you for showing the before and after. Most do not do that and I always wonder if it ever worked. Happy planting! ðŠīðą
Wow lovely
I just cut then put right into soil
My dracena has been in the water for months but still not rooting even after I change water once every week and also give it enough indirect sunlight :(
maybe indirect light is not enough, try to keep under grow light
What are the brown Cocoa Puffs that you put in? are those the nutrients? Where can I get them? Thank you!
Leca or clay pebbles. see the link to all the products that I am using in the description of the video.

They looks horrible when you mutilate the rÃe leaves. This kind of plants looks beautiful when they are put 2 or 3 plants of different sizes in the same pot.
do they need to be under direct sun while rooting?
not necessary as long as you have grow light at home
Quick question...is there a reason you cut some of the leaves?
I enjoyed watching the video!
