I wish we got more of an inside view of the town, like at the beginning of the game, after Micheal's funeral. Instead of jumping into the therapy session, we take control of him and start the journey to Los Santos his family and we can fade to meet Franklin and Lamar and see shining skylines and a "9 years later" or something like that. ^ In my own opinion.
I still remember the ps3 days where you could fly there then call out your own car. Shame there wasn't a to transport the snow vehicles with the chained wheels back to Los santos

Its not a mod its a secret cheat On the D Pad enter this Down right down right up down up left. The game doesn't tell you about cheats being activated but don't worry from here you can fly there like in this video.

So you want airplanes to be usable to fly to other places in GTA VI? Stop being so needy. Game testers test the game and sometimes it runs slowly so they had to remove a few features. And of course you shouldn't have very high hopes for VI. Rockstar is a company that likes to milk their most worthless stuff like GTA Online, while they could've released newer titles and you shouldn't expect some extreme stuff like riding an airplane to another country or stuff like that. Maybe for a mission, but not for freeroam.

you forgot this: (WITH MODS) anyways you can go to north yankton...kinda...buy a garage for trevor,a sanchez bike,and a jerry can/molotov,after that you just start a fire right next to the garage door,and drive to the garage door and press e/arrow left,trevor is on fire after that,then just start the mission "bury the hatchet" as trevor,and open up the interaction menu while driving,so the game doesnt warp you into the garage,then the next step is to fly to north yankton and when youre near north yankton,bring down the interaction menu,you will mission fail,exit the mission after that,north yankton will be loaded on the map and you can fly to it,its near the docks

There's a way complete fresh meat mission as a replay and then you can save the game after completing , load switch to Michael or Trevor there you can free roam :)

Would’ve been a great extension to the game as content to do after you beat the game is that you genuinely can visit North Yankton. Go to the airport and pay a good sum to fly there or if you fly to the left and kind of up on the map then after a while it cuts like in the Trevor mission and you will end up there but you have to fly super far so the airport is better! They wouldn’t even have to have many side missions like maybe 6 strangers and freaks but then you just get the opportunity to explore and see the random events! If they did this like 4 years after release or something people would’ve gone crazy! Especially with Cayo Perico if you could fly to Cayo and North Yankton as two separate areas it would add so much to the game!
North Yankton *is* located there in the game, but youre obviously using a mod to make it visible. That location is also used for Cayo Perico in GTA online.
Of the three of them, only Mr. Philips would be running around with a handgun in the middle winter in an abandoned town. Franklin smoking from outta his bong in his mansion was something else.. in a game that's traditionally 'In your vehicle, run 'em over' the bong thing's jus hilarious.
Rockstar should make a DLC where you get the opportunity to visit North Yankton or at least make a North yankton heist or something. Such a boring ass company.

I can confirm this, but if you play as Michael, you get teleported there by the airport. But as Trevor, you can fly there (almost)
