Thanks for the review and heads up BC for Au$35, that is amazing value and the delivery is something AusPost should be taking a good had and long look at!
Appreciated. I'll be checking to see if they're available in the states. Just a suggestion here. You can get your auto-focus to work better on close-ups by extending a hand, to fill the shot, behind your item.
Thanks BC I learned a lot watching this one. The run out appears to be the grinder shaft. Watching the nut when the wheel is spinning is what makes me think that it is the shaft and not the wheel.
Hello Terry. I put the DTI on the shaft first. Less than 2 hundreths MM run out and that was a rust stain on one side. The bore also fits really good. Maybe a second wheel will be bought before I butcher this 1.
worked at a place making TC tools. one day i suggested trying a diamond or CBN wheel instead of the archaic greenstone aka SiC... boss looks at me... "that sounds rather old fashioned". any wonder why i DONT work there now?
Very nice, this is certainly worth giving a try.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a great week.👍👍
Thanks heaps. BC

Very interesting. I think I need to acquire one.

That's a big thank you. I also realised the light coming under the roller door buggered the white balance.

A nice review mate
Good on you BC.
Thats great, thanks for making the video✌️ Ive been thinking of biying one. After testing, what grit would you recomend for High speed steel?
Glad you liked it. 240 grit is a good starting point. Any coarser and it won't suit small tools.

BC I've searched but can not find what CBN stands for. Could you please answer what it stands for?
Cubic Boron Nitride
As Wilson says Cubic Boron Nitride. The cubic part usually describes the grain shape.
@@inmyshedwithbc. Thanks I looked up Boron Nitride. I had thought it was some kind of ceramic but was not sure.
