    What happened with that horseshoe @6:30 ? Even though the main is chopped it still seems attached. Not enough drag from the bag etc. to flip the three rings? Only comes loose with the reserve deploying. Sketchy indeed!

    So, what are the procedures to take in those cases that the expert is always scared of? When the entanglement of secondary with the primary occurs due to the cut-away not releasing the primary. Seems like there should be some best practices discussed in those situations.

      Totally agree. The Horseshoe procedure shown here seems debatable for me; why not desconnecting RSL and throwing the pilot chute first, before the cutaway, to make sure the main canopy releases completely, and then, and just then, activating the reserve?
      That clears the possibility of entanglement.
