It's no surprise that Sarah Fox is a recipient of the Kathleen Ferrier Award - I see very close similarities. A truly lovely voice and matched with Thomas Allen - absolute heaven. This Prom was a great moment in my musical experience.
She has such a lovely voice, quite strikingly similar to Valerie Masterson in the 1960s (a sadly-overlooked soprano, but always my favourite, such character in everything she sang). More, please!
The only CD I know of him solely singing songs from musicals is the one he did with the soprano Valerie Masterson on 'If I Loved You' released in '96. He does occasionally sing musical repertoire on his two Opera in English CDs where he sings 'Soliloquy' and 'September Song'. He's one of the few operatic stars that I admire greatly due to both his magnetic singing and acting skills.
To be honest, I didn't hear of Ms Fox until the Proms the other night so I'm very new to her voice which I must say is a lovely one. You might try Amazon to look for her CDs although there doesn't seem to be many with her at the moment. I'm more of a Sir Thomas expert there. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hope you find what you're looking for.
I saw the broadcast of this Prom. The music, the singing, and the TV presentation of this piece were sublime. Find the recording, it is worth the search.

Haha...everybody's ❤❤❤ Sarah Fox but what planet are they on - haven't they noticed there's a baritone featured here - the wonderful Thomas Allen!
I actually noticed ONLY HIS beautiful baritone voice and I'm a fervent admire of Dmitri Hvorostovsky. A tru pleasure with Allen's velvety sound. 😊

Truly, The Divine Sarah!
Moved by the magic of humanity x

There are lots of recordings of Sarah. Her recording of Benjamin Britten's setting of A Beggar's Opera is to be released in a matter of weeks.
